  7. Already ahead of you mate [emoji6] I'm also going to join every forum for every car he supplies for and share my experiences. He should have just put his hand in his pocket and come up with £100, he will lose that tenfold in business now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Thanks Guy, THEY WONT ACKNOWLEDGED IT, mine was fitted spot on, and even a few extra rivets, for belt and braces. 80mph "CRACK" pulled the whole front of the car down. I'm going to find every forum site I can and share my experience with this horrible company, which is no doubt a one man show. I'm sure it will make potential future buyers think twice before using them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Ha, Maxton is that your Pseudonym ? Yes it happened, no-one cut corners, these extra fittings were as well as the ones provided as Fitters had seen these aftermarket splitters fail on several occasions. If It was a one off then one would assume an error, you only have to look at previous posts on this site see that it's a common occurrence. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Just had the Golf back from VW to fit a new splitter. Don't mind paying the extra to make sure it's fitted correctly. The previous one Supplied by Maxton was also done by VW and along with the bolts supplied, which eventually came as missing in the initial delivery, VW also fitted some plastic rivets to make it well secure. On the motorway this week my Maxton front splitter snapped under the pressure of the wind and also pulled all the brackets out my lower bumper with the down force it created. It was in a real state. Maxton acknowledged it had been fitted correctly but would like to blame the moon, the day of the week and maybe what socks I was wearing. No contribution towards my new one. I've spent hundreds with that company. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
