Think we all have a social responsibility. You get out what you put in. But as with all aspects of society it needs regulating, just hope the VWROC community can do it better than the rest as we all have a common purpose, the love of Rs. Regarding the slagging off of he police, have I missed something? Is there more to this story than just the video? Any one have a link? I saw the end of the video a taxi driver showing some human compassion and pulling over to see if the two police officers are ok, anyone mentioned that? I took the guy at the end as the officer who was the passenger (or riding shotgun) who had got out of the car just before the first ram, and then you could hear his continuing panic trying to get his seatbelt on. End of the day the blokes in th audi estate are the blokes who want to come in to your house and scare the hell out of you and steal your prides and joy, destroy your confidences and won't even give you a second thought. So forget about the police stealing our tax 'dollars' focus on the fact that there are low life scum in our society who want to take what we have earnt

Just to check a lloyds backed insurance policy is probably better than a discretionary union based policy?

Problem with these indemnity insurers is they are union based, so it's discretionary and once members leave, the price goes up. It's a massive crisis in our job at the moment as the costs are spiralling and our wages are stagnant

Sensible advice from all the above, as you've signed up to the forum thinks it's more when than if you buy an R. Ive set my sights on an S4 avant as my next car once I sort out my other life issues

I had the same off my professional indemnity insurers the other month, rang them up nope that's the price you've got to pay (it's a legal requirement in my job), sourced an independent indemnity insurance, went back to cancel dropped the price by 1.5k, still 1k more expensive than my independent quote. Bye bye big boys

I found this by accident. Thought I'd share with the forum. If you have sky tv download the my sky app, then click the sky VIP app and you get a free movie from the sky store (I got guardians of the galaxy 2 with DVD) and sky go extra free (£5 saved). There are a few competitions and if you're extra keen free tickets if you strike fast. I haven't seen this advertised, just found by accident (logging on to my sky to add sky go extra and ended up getting it for free) thought I would share with the community

It's quite funny on the BBC sport website reading the comments defending Vettel's actions and slating Lewis Hamilton. Poor Verstappen, he would have ran away with that race! Well done Baku for providing a decent race, albeit aided by the 3 safety cars and all the cars losing tyre pressure etc leading to more incidents

What has Vettel been smoking? Where the stewards not brace enough enough to disqualify him? That is akin to elbowing a footballer in front of the referee. And the telemetry I've seen shows Hamilton didn't brake, neither did he accelerate but he didn't slam the anchors on. Mental. And then hats off to lance stroll, excellent drive, so unlucky to be pipped on the line!! Then ricciardo to double overtake massa and stroll on the first corner, race winning!! Thoughts ?

To be fair GMP (greater Manchester police) wrote an R off at the Trafford centre one night and I know South Yorkshire police have a few unmarked evos and scoobies. So if they look big and scary in the seats then let em by, and if they start following you home go to a petrol station.....

And that's why it used to be my go to fall asleep whilst watching on 'sky go' tv show. Miss the last 20 mins and still fully understood the story. The first series was pretty decent and then the other 4 really helped me to sleep
