  1. She just went back to VWFS after 24 months of ownership two weeks ago with 49k on the clock [emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Love how my original post went from me asking for peoples opinions on returning the car back re. damage to people discussing buying their lease car at the end of lease! Back to point the BCA inspector picked up on one thing which I knew he would - the bumper scruff with the lacquer showing through. £24 plus vat bill - happy days. She's back and missed but holding out for a super deal on something else for now! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I was planning on asking but unless it was considerably under book value then no. Plus I m sitting on 47k miles so I've done enough driving in it and as much as it's been a great all rounder, there's too many cars out there to choose from. Will be looking for the end of the year for a replacement. How much you reckon you'll be buying yours for? Imagine the market will be flooded with Golf R's following the 2014/2015 cheap lease deals so hopefully a good price for you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I am due to hand the R back next month and wanted to hear back from others who have or are due to return their lease car back to VWFS. I've seen the 'contract hire - damage charges matrix' that's been posted on this forum and I m bit dubious I.e it's indicative and there's no mention of vat either. So who's handed their car back and not got any repair works done before hand and instead opted to be billed by vwfs? I know what needs doing; 2 x Kerbed alloys (a month before I return the car [emoji35] typical). 1 x bumper scuff about the size of half a five pence piece, very small but the lacquer is showing - from some **** in a multi story. 1 x scratch/chunk out of the passenger side rear door above the window frame again about the size of half a five pence piece - my fault, bloody window guard! And I've bloody got like glue stuck on the half suede side inserts of the passenger seat - from the wifes decorative stones becoming loose after a steam iron from her dress! Everything else appears fine including tyre treads though I'll have 2-3k bill for excess mileage too. Thinking don't touch and get billed, thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. ...then there was me: Just hit 44k on a April 2015 reg [emoji12] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Haha - luckily it was pre toilet, so very clean - not a [emoji90][emoji90]in sight [emoji85] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Looks like they're (iPhone 7) water proof alright - fell out of my back pocket into the toilet last night (luckily nothing in it) and it still works completely fine [emoji1474] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Op - congrats 5% deposit sounds good to me! I m at negotiation stage for a new build and the following looks like the final list; turf, carpets, hard flooring, spot lights, upgrade kitchen, dishwasher, fitted wardrobes and half tiles in ensuite! Not bad eh [emoji13] Edit: The above is what I've negotiated for the house that the developer is putting in for free - I couldn't get a gifted deposit or price reduction.
  9. Anyone bought one then? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. The running point is more to do with the fact that the new earphones are not attached to one another, so will be likely to fall out mid run! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Love the iOS vs android debates [emoji85] like the old manual vs automatic debates lol - well used to be! Back on point - I m going to wait until I can see the handset in the flesh, mainly the camera quality between the 7 and plus removal of the headphone jack are sticking points for me... Camera - should be the same spec irrelevant of screen size. I don't want to be carrying around a block of cheddar cheese nor do I want to be speaking into one for an iPhone with the better camera. Headphone jack removal / wireless headphones - what the hell am I supposed to do when I m sat at my desk, working - bopping along to music and I need to charge my phone? Or running?? Ridiculous!!! Apple have been to opportunistic here, a further attempt to look consumers into their eco system and control what 'their' customers can buy, sorry say they can buy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Because I coulda swore we spoke about your order on babybmw, you ordered around similar time to me (Oct 14). Oh, that's hardly anything. I m sat at 36k with 6 months left to go on my lease. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Clearly... Was sure you were leasing! Anyways, mileage? What you getting next... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Thought you were leasing? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
