Picked my R up from Inchcape Stockport on Saturday 29/05. Top class new car sales manager, great deal & superb service. White, Non PP, 19” Estorils with Goodyear’s!!, HK sound, nappa leather, rear camera & sunroof. Ordered 12/12/20, it’s been a long wait. But worth it, car is ace, just need a few more miles on it

Thanks to both of you, will look around Lou - which bit of east yorkshire ta roy

Thanks for that LouCyffer. All i need now is someone with VCDS to enable it. Is there anyone in the Preston / Lancs area willing to help for the usual fee/ beer tokens etc many thanks roy

Hi can anyone help enable lock/unlock sounds on my new 7.5 golf r. Preston / Lancs area. Believe its harder to do on latest models just been detailed - looking pretty good ta roy

Please see below from corby.wds@dial.pipex.com, one off speed camera POI update is about £5 & there is also a 12 month subscription. I have used this for past 2 years. No problems, gives audible bong as well, all on MIB 2 Disco pro regards roy Although the camera database I used to generate the listed update was as current as possible at the time of listing, cameras come and go quite rapidly and so will soon be out of date to a degree. On average there are a few hundreds of changes in the 14,000 plus cameras in the database every month. I tend to issue each month’s update on the Saturday after the 1st Wednesday of each month (as that’s when the database I uses as the basis of the update service is updated) e.g. April’s was available on the 8th which is very late whereas May’s will be available on the 6th and so on.

Thanks Rebecca, just finding my way round the messaging roy

Hi Dougie, could I also do the same please. Not sure if i can PM but will post my mobile no. if needed ta roy

No the backing was black, i had to spray it RS same as the front

No just got help to hold the badge flap open

No pics at the moment disassembly well front dead easy. I took the grill off an then gently prised off the badge with a couple of tiny screwdrivers back much more difficult. Prising off the badge I broke the backing plate, luckily new one supplied with black badge i think the trick is just to take it very slow prising apart

Hi on my reflex silver R i sprayed the backing plates rs & then put on (bought) gloss black badges front & back imho it looks great roy

Hi Dave i'm near kirkham & have a ........ reflex silver R with prets cheers roy

Yep my R came with Pzero's on the 19" prets

3 dr reflex silver with pretorias, black VW badges with body colour backing, black false inlets in front bumper - looks brill

Try Rick, Inchcape Manchester, matched Orangewheels price no problem roy

Klauster thanks very much for the coding, well pleased with the results roy

E-sure = £170, fully comp, protected ncd, £400 total xs I think thats pretty good

Klauster are you still doing vcds mods. Apparently because i have MIB2 you need version 15.7.3 or later software. You did a few of us together last May (ish) at Costco. Mine was a black R. Nice picture of 6 R's together was posted. Roy

thanks Don that's very useful. I just need to find someone willing to help with the coding & also has 15.7.3 or above regards roy
