  1. Really surprised the Audison kit uses the OEM tweeters.... is the weakness in the factory kit all down to the X over? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Definitely rate the Millers 2mpg increase over the last 8k miles since switching, which in my simple little mind means less drag and a happier engine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Had mine done at a good independent (Awesome GTi) after being quoted something stupid like £260 at VW. No issues what so ever and done on a proper bit of alignment kit with a before & after print showing adjustment.
  4. Another vote for Hik Vision as a product (sh1t name tho....) [emoji12] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Well, been in for the service today - excellent service as usual. Haldex filter clean / scrape obviously good value - they have put the pictures on their insta and have to admit (placebo or not) hesitation at low revs has gone, all in all very happy!
  6. Used Awesome for fitting VWR intake / TT Turbo Hose & 6 pot brakes previously (as well as stuff on previous cars) Now out of 3yr warranty, so booked in for first big service after Easter, inc the Millers Nanodrive oil and Haldex oil and filter 'scrape' - just want to get a proper baseline after the car has been in the authorised network for 3/4 years so everything (plugs, filters, engine flush) being done.
  7. I know the Audison stuff is good, but I really can’t get met head around fitting all that kit but the package not updating the front tweeters! The factory fitted tweeters aren’t ‘all that’ in my opinion, but perhaps I need to reserve judgement until I’d heard them being driven by a much cleaner amp source....... 8. Unicorn definite my choice if you are ok with the travel. Amount of tailoring and tweaking on a live map really can’t be beaten Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Looks well proper! Like that a lot... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Rick is an absolute legend - every dyno print of a map he has coded looks utterly sublime.
  11. Hi Certainly any of the Revo agents will be able to help - disc size is (as far as I can recall) either 355 or 380 mm depending on the kit From when mine was fitted, every component came in an Alcon branded individual box, so have no doubt the discs can be bought separately. I still have the boxes somewhere (!!!) in the garage, so if you want me to to look at a part number (for the 380 mm kit) just let me know
  12. The VWR has more bite than the Revo, although this might be down to the lighter car and Ferodo pads. K sport seem very well priced, but i have no first had experience Don't think you'd be disappointed with the VWR or Revo kit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Would go for either Paul Willis or James Muir Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Personally, think your logic is sound on the ability to resell the kit, which gives you the abiliy to have the awesome stopping power of a BBK with not much more cost over the lifetime vs pads and disks. On my 2 cars I have the VWR kit on the 7r - it works great. On the A6 a 380mm Alcon/Revo kit. Both are spot on! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Hi Had the same issue about 12 months ago - Yale locks with the anti snap groove and they did the job - with the lock barrel remaining intact What I also found out was that ERA do some reinforced handles to stop the snap even happening, combo of the reinforced handle and anti-snap barrel is imho about as far as this bit of your security can be taken.
