Sounds like a catalogue of poor actions by your employer, I’m not going to pretend to be an employment lawyer - but am working with a number of clients at the moment who are managing this properly. Putting to one side the issues around undocumented employment terms, no formal notes of probationary reviews, and it also sounds like there has been no formal consultation on the furlough process nor on the redundancy process. Irrespective of the term of employment so many cockups that a tribunal would view dimly. Thereafter it others have been brought back from furlough without you being kept up to speed then sure a suitably qualified individual would advise you about the indirect discrimination you’ve probably suffered Best advice that has already been given earlier is to keep a log of everything, or ensure you can get the sequence of events chronologically summarised and then seek advice, unfortunately in the short term looks like you’ll be best to get out in the market and look for a new employer who values you as part of their team.
  2. Might be a bit late, but a piece of advice I’d offer is to make sure he holds down the actual dipstick tube, whilst he pulls the dipstick. On my dads Cupra, he unwittingly pulled the dipstick tube (sure there’s a pun in there) out of the engine block but didn’t realise. The amazing thing to witness was how rough the engine then sounded - genuinely like it was on its last legs, hunting at idle and clicking. Seems once the oil system isn’t pressurised, they do some weird things. Dealership diagnosed and refitted - not a lot of oil lost but genuinely amazing how the engine then ran sweet as a nut. Admittedly I’ve never had an issue with the 7R in the 6 years I’ve had it but assume all of the blocks are the same across the 3 x cars. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Demo Car

    Dealers are obliged to retain a demo registered car for a period of time. The manufacturer or captive funding partner will give them a dedicated funding line to fund that vehicle during that period This ranges from 90 to 180 days depending on the franchise in question Closely linked to the Supply of New Cars Order 2000, but essentially a dealer can be penalised for selling a car during this period. IIRC for VW it is 90 days Years ago some dealers, to satisfy the customer would ‘sell’ the car early and retain the v5c until the demo funding period lapsed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. Had mine done at a good independent (Awesome GTi) after being quoted something stupid like £260 at VW. No issues what so ever and done on a proper bit of alignment kit with a before & after print showing adjustment.

  11. Well, been in for the service today - excellent service as usual. Haldex filter clean / scrape obviously good value - they have put the pictures on their insta and have to admit (placebo or not) hesitation at low revs has gone, all in all very happy!

Used Awesome for fitting VWR intake / TT Turbo Hose & 6 pot brakes previously (as well as stuff on previous cars) Now out of 3yr warranty, so booked in for first big service after Easter, inc the Millers Nanodrive oil and Haldex oil and filter 'scrape' - just want to get a proper baseline after the car has been in the authorised network for 3/4 years so everything (plugs, filters, engine flush) being done.
  13. I know the Audison stuff is good, but I really can’t get met head around fitting all that kit but the package not updating the front tweeters! The factory fitted tweeters aren’t ‘all that’ in my opinion, but perhaps I need to reserve judgement until I’d heard them being driven by a much cleaner amp source.......
