  1. Thanks. I will for sure. Have to admit £500 must be on a business lease ex vat with no spec and over 60 months. If it is even possible because the cheapest I have seen is £700 for a personal on 48 months
  2. Yeah that's it mate , sounds and looks amazing but refined inside. Just unfortunate I have to use another 10k of the kids inheritance to buy it !!!! But they will be fine knowing daddy was happy
  3. No Problem Mate, Will PM when done - TBH I will probably stay in the shadows on here just to keep myself amused with some members posts !!!!
  4. Hi All So a quick update, the decision is made. Its the Jag ! Thanks for everyones help and input, been a great thread to keeping checking what all your experiences are. In the end it was the refinement, the pops and bangs, the individuality and the sheer class of a British made sports car, that wether you are 30 or 50 everyone loves it. I am off tomorrow to look/buy one in carbon grey, black roof and black alloys. Hope to see you all soon and great to be a part of this forum during my god awful VW experience. Being sensible was last year, heres to the future of sports cars !!!!!
  5. Depreciation index Year 0 Year 1 Year 2 Year 3 Year 4 Porsche Cayman Coupe 3.4 S 2dr £49,478 £36,614 £30,112 £24,709 £21,107 Google is your friend ! nothing on the Jag though
  6. I can see that working ! My wife has been great, the only thing i now have to work out is her final question "if this is what you want, no problem. For me, just choose the car that will depreciate the least in a year, because that is how long you keep your cars' So everybody, what do you think ?
  7. To be honest mate, I am the same, 1 three year old, one toddler, but we also have an Audi Q7. My wife and i work really close together so we can car swap daily when needed to drop kids off etc. At the weekends we only use the big car for family days, hence why my mileage is so low!
  8. And this is why i started this thread ! Really great conversation, with fellow petrol heads, who not only have an opinion but provide some really interesting feedback. Thanks everyone
  9. You are so right mate , After sleeping on it , I am now pretty sure it is going to be the f type. I woke this morning wanting to drive it to work. The morning after the Cayman I woke thinking , I need to get that car on a track. But actually I am buying this car to go work and back and some enjoyable weekends with my wife in the peaks around us. After some more research, jaguar F type coupe - s model about a 14 plate or 64 , in either white , grey or blue with the panoramic glass and 20 inch alloys.
  10. I think your car would smoke most super cars though !!!! did see the type r , but then you are touching 70k. I am looking at a Cayman s or s type that both sit around £45 - £50k , would you still go with the jag ?
  11. It is so refined isn't it, that exhaust and torque is just something to behold !
  12. Interestingly , I don't feel like all the people on here are strangers ? I have got to know a lot of people on here through various conversations previously , I also know a lot of the members on here either have , or have previously owned one of these cars. So I personally value their opinion, in case my head is ruling my heart again !
  13. My r was specc d up, but I was trying to be sensible for once, . After my VW experience I decided to be myself again and go back to Porsche design coffee machines !! Ha ha ha
  14. Really interesting. I love the fact it's British. But I can't get away from that that it is a jaguar. My wife has actually said tonight I'm to young to drive a jag !
  15. Looking at the s , rather than the r Or should I test drive the R ?
