  1. Bought the isofix covers, which VW stopped putting on newer Golfs due to cost cutting.
  2. I upgraded to 19's from the Cadiz alloy and don't have DCC. It's the wife's car and she has never noticed or complained, therefore if there is any difference it would be marginal.
  3. No issues either with my CM reps either and I have accidentally driven over potholes
  4. https://www.volkswagen.co.uk/owners/servicing/fixed-price-servicing?&mkwid=s17XRH9CY_pcrid_201233215386_pkw_vw fixed price servicing_pmt_e_pdv_c_slid__pgrid_39061886370_ptaid_kwd-303078611029_&tc=sem-_[Range]_[All]_[None]_[Exact]_[EN]_[Eval]_[Servicing]_[Core]-UK-google-Core_[Exact]-e-vw fixed price servicing&kw=vw fixed price servicing&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIo_uajInM2gIVwpUbCh25KQBqEAAYASAAEgJ6U_D_BwE&mkwid=s17XRH9CY_201233215386_vw fixed price servicing_e_c&mtid=vdvv2y1xd0&slid=&product_id= It includes: Oil & filter change. Vehicle inspection and report to include all lights, instruments, bodywork, glass, locks, battery, coolant levels, drive belts, braking system, steering, hoses, drive shafts, suspension and exhaust system. Full vehicle road test. Diagnostic check including report. Re-set service interval display. Volkswagen stamp in service book.
  5. Had alloygators on my previous Golf MK5 GTi. They may protect the alloys (although they are not recommended for diamond cut alloys) but every minor ding meant the protector would come away from its housing and have to be taken back to be reset...Just try and stay away from the kerbs!!!
  6. Hill, Mansell, Schumacher that's when it was worth watching ... now it's just dull dull dull
  7. No problem...but the clips did not match, so when you pushed the cap down and applied pressure they were fine, but once you let go they would spring out. Fitted the CM caps and applied the enamel VW sticker and I have not had any issues and I clean my alloys regularly. Good luck
  8. Then give it a go...but I can tell you that I have the CM Wheels, ordered 65mm caps and they did not fit
  9. Mine was very intermittent. Once I sent the service advisor the VW bulletin (in the link above), they accepted the warranty claim straight away. Don't accept any BS from the dealer, it is on their systems and are aware of it.
  10. Replaced my DSG gear selector under warranty...that is what they should be doing as numerous others have failed. If you are under warranty take it back, search in this forum as there is the VW document stating what the dealership should be doing. Part costs £810 before labour, so hopefully you get it resolved
