    Kerbed alloys

FYI: no real relevance but oddly interesting: my brother-in-law just potholed an alloy on his new Peugeot 308 GTI - 19” “Carbone..” £930 to replace it!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    EPC light and limp mode

Results from my scan this morning: P130A00 Cylinder disabling electrical fault in circuit P150B00 Acceleration monitoring: value above control limit - lower limit exceeded P030200 Cylinder 2 misfire detected Will contact tuner later as I don’t understand implications! There have been no further issues. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just had mine scanned: P130A00 Cylinder disabling electrical fault in circuit P150B00 Acceleration monitoring: value above control limit - lower limit exceeded P030200 Cylinder 2 misfire detected Means very little to me, will call tuner later. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    DCC or not and why?

It’s my one main regret not getting DCC at build. Sometimes feels like a blob of jelly on rollercoaster now my estate is stage 1![emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks again! Re: scanning for codes myself what would you recommend? I just want something that will scan/read/clear, I don’t want to ‘code’. I saw an OBD 11 on Amazon for £25! It would cosy that much to get it done locally and I guess things like this might happen in future! Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks bud: I have a custom stage 1 map and a DSG tune. (JF Automotive) I’ll get all the codes on Friday and keep you posted. Can you explain what a compression test is please? Ta Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Warranty Just Expired, It's time to play......

Why is the UK consumer treated like s**t then? Same car? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Driving rich in 3rd gear other day (DSG, manual mode) and momentarily had to focus on road so did not upshift gear myself, revs climbed into red, didn’t shift automatically into 4th (I thought DSG would do that?), engine made a noise like trying to give birth to a baby golf, EPC light came on, thought it was curtains in there, power loss then limp mode. Start/Stop error flashed up...pulled over switched off, switched on 5min later and all seemed ok. Can’t get to tuner to read codes until next week. Not happened again, no warning lights have re-appeared and operating fine including heavy duty. Stage 1 with DSG tune 5 weeks ago. Any thoughts other than crap driving? LOL!
