With regret, I am in need of a car with more doors so the Golf must go. I bought the car in August '18 following a series of long visits to dealerships in search of the perfect 3dr Golf R DSG; this being the cleanest example, pre-owned by a like-minded enthusiast. At the time of purchase VW replaced the front and rear disc and pads and carried out a full comprehensive service. I can’t comment enough just how great this car looks and drives. Details: 35,000 miles – this is likely to increase as still being used as my daily. FVWSH MOT until August ‘18 19” Pretoria alloy wheels – excellent condition with only 2 minor kerb marks, Bridgestone Potenza RE050a (factory fit) tyres all round. Sat Nav Unmarked metallic limestone grey I have cherished this car and as such it has been washed/waxed and valeted to a high standard weekly, I would strongly recommend any purchaser to view to see for themselves. I always take the car up to temperature before using the full potential of the engine – the car has recently covered some long journeys to Wales and the Lake District without skipping a beat. Whilst I am not into modifying cars to a huge extent I have fitted a centre silencer delete pipe (the original centre silencer will come with the car for bolting back on as the new owner wishes), this really opens up the sound of the motor yet not being too obtrusive to neighbours and when cruising on motorways – provides a lovely rasp. The car also will come complete with an OEM boot tray and cargo net supplied direct from VW – all receipts included in sale. Any questions or queries, please ask. 2. Managed to have no issues activating Scandanavian tail-lights on my own Golf R but when I tried this on my Dads 18 plate A3 Sportback the app or log code option is not available - is there a more specific way to do this on an Audi. All other apps etc. look very similar so can't understand!? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

  4. These seats look great, which model Golf were they originally out of?
  5. I had a quote from a ceramic coating specialist, this is the way I would go if I were to get mine done... feel like I would have to de-chrome the rest of the car at the same time though so something for the future perhaps.
  6. It was great thanks. The weather was kind to us too... was expecting much worse! I'll have to check up on the stage results later. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  7. Think I saw the RS4 too, lowered? I saw a nice blue 3dr 7.5 blue with black Pretorias! Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  8. Revisiting an old post I know... my friend and I are there to spectate on the Saturday. Anyone else going to be there?
  9. I was under the impression that C4 would only have the highlights and no live races except Silverstone? Read even that highlights will be 7 minutes shorter race action!
  10. Not much to report other than replacing the number plates for a set with fresh Euro logos and removing the R badges on the front wing - never really liked them on the R (personally preference). Road trip over to Bruges for 5 days. Here's how she sits. [emoji41] Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  11. All sorted, this photo was taken before I'd jacked back down and tightened the bolts up.
  12. Think my decision has been made... just got to figure out a date when I can get up that way to tie in with another visit.
  13. Managed to find a few hours in the day to whip off all wheels to clean, detar, remove old adhesive from weights, polish and seal. Not a stone chip or kerb mark in sight... Not bad for a 30k miler!! It started to rain so clean wheels I'm afraid went onto a dirty and wet car. [emoji50] At the same time, courtesy of BlackGolfR I fitted 10mm spacers to the rear. She sits well - springs next I reckon. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  14. Cool. It's Stockport you're at? Can you pm price for stage 1 map and dsg tune? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  15. Can someone assist with clarifying whether any tuners provide an adjustment to the throttle position with their remaps? I have heard some do and some don't, guess if I choose one which does it avoids me having to go down the pedalbox route also? Thanks
