  1. Anyone got experience of this? My Karcher K2 has given up after 2 years, so I'm looking for a new pressure washer. I know there's been threads before about the best PW but searched and can't see any mention of Wilks. Got a fairly large patio, driveway, Passat estate and of course the R to clean, so fair amount of use expected. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  2. I do prefer my analogue dials, but last year during a weekend camping, an insect managed to crawl into mine and die. Have tried to disassemble, but it's a complete unit so I'm stuck with it. Can only assume that wouldn't happen with the virtual dials. Case of a bug in the hardware, not software Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  3. It's a charging and data port. No idea what the maximum amperage is, but as Amps are pulled rather than pushed, there should be no risk of overcurrent on a modern phone. You probably won't get fast charging tho. To give you an idea, my OnePlus 6t will gain about 15% on my 45 min commute whilst streaming Spotify via Android auto Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  4. Yes, mine does this (66 plate) if it's been sitting for several minutes and I haven't remembered to disable stop start. I get a message on the display saying restart engine manually, assumed there's a timeout built in to the system. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  5. I use the Garmin Virb XE. Now superseded but always been impressed, and the built in GPS allows you to map speed/acceleration data etc onto your footage Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  6. I've had a go at this today. First got the drivers cubbyhole out, then the trim driver side, then the driver side air vent all out. Pulled out the trim panel just above the steering wheel/column, then got the piano black trim panel off the instruments. It's actually a complete piece of clear plastic, with the silver/black binnacles just sitting on top. Looks like removal of the instruments themselves is required. There are 2 torx screws visible when you take off the trim panel above the steering column, but I haven't got a set of torx screwdrivers so that's as far as I got. Assume you have to then pull the whole cluster out and unscrew it from the back to get in behind the clear plastic [emoji852]️. Some suggestions in other forums that might panic the immobiliser and require a full key recode, so I guess I'm stuck with it until it goes for service next. At least in the process the insect moved from the bottom of the fuel gauge to the outer ring, so might be able to ignore it a bit more. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  7. Is that possible on the 7r? Now I know it's there, it's driving me mad! Going to have a go with the hoover this weekend. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  8. Ah, thanks mate. Had feared as much but not sure if I can live with it long term. Sounds like an expensive fix! Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  9. I've managed somehow to acquire an unwanted pet! There's what appears to be an ant (presumed dead) in front of the speedometer dial. It's sitting just at the bottom of the fuel gauge, but does move around on cornering. Anyone got any ideas on removal of the glass cover? Is it an instrument cluster out job? 7R so not active display. Cheers Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  10. Now that is a bold move, or just represents having enough money to not worry about writing off a supercar. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  11. I'd imagine that many of this week's deliveries have been delayed, but saw my first 18 today. Yet another ubiquitous GTD. Gave the driver a look what you could have won gesture as I passed, but was traveling too quickly to see the reaction. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  12. Reasonably well, as long as you have a good signal. I think all the voice commands are sent to Google for processing then back as it fails completely when there's no network connection Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  13. Wow, with the chair in shot for scale that's quite a display! Happy birthday [emoji512][emoji322][emoji313][emoji312] Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  14. You need to long press the voice button. A short press will activate the inbuilt VW voice system (or tell you it's not activated), a long press will activate the android auto voice control. Not sure if you need to have android active on the screen at the time. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  15. D dock for me. Looks completely OEM, and massive convenience to just drop my phone in for android auto Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
