🤟 made me smile seeing a near identical wagon. What exhaust have you fitted btw?

She doesn’t have her own car yet, but wants to own one and drive it somewhere, she wants the same as a lot of teenagers....to drive. She’s wanted it for as long as I can remember, but unfortunately was diagnosed with a visual inpairment which has progressively got worse, so she can’t enjoy driving on the road.

Strange question but my 18yo Daughter is visually impaired and will never be able to hold a license to drive, but loves Karting and wants to drive ‘somewhere’. I’ve thought about getting her an off-roader and joining a club, but I think she’s enjoy tarmac more than mud. Does anyone know what options there are for her take her own car and enjoy it on - a track, airfield, other venue etc? Thanks in advance for any suggestions. We live in Essex, but would be willing to travel 100 miles or more to give her the opportunity to enjoy what most of us take for granted (driving). Craig.

Frickin OBDElevn app keep crashing just as I try to select what I think is the correct option in the Leuchte39RFL RA64 sub menu. The field/parameter I’m clicking on in here is Dimmert AB 29, which is currently set to 100. This is not mentioned in your instructions @Booth11, so I’m assuming this is what I need to do. Can you or someone help here?

I’m pretty sure I’ve read somewhere on here that it’s possible to increase the brightness of your reversing lights with OBDeleven. However I’ve scanned and searched but I cannot find the detail on how to do this. Can anyone help/advise? Thanks.

I’ve made this change and much prefer the improved throttle response. I won’t be switching back.

Just a quick update. I spoke to Chloe at Unicorn today. She’s going to get back to me sometime this week with regards to any deals/offers Unicorn may be willing to put together for us. So, 3 of us so far are interested in a Unicorn tuning upgrade. I’ll leave it until Monday and see how many more would be interested. I’ll then reach out to Rick and see if he can offer us some kind of group buy deal, then I’ll post it on the group buy section of the forum too. It it would be great to get 5 to 10 of us (closer to 10 preferably). Fingers crossed.

After researching this over the past number of months, and having run a RaceChip Ulitimate for a while (which I’m happy with, as a first step into this tuning malarkey), I’m leaning heavily towards having Rick at Unicorn work his stage1 magic on my MK7R Wagon. The fella clearly knows his stuff! I was wondering if we could get a group of us together and see if he’d cut us a group buy type of deal (I will post this to the group buy section if I get some traction here and Rick is open to this - I must state, I have not approached Rick yet, this is all just in my head right now). Who would be up for this?

VW ‘kindly’ washed and waxed my car whilst it was in for some warranty work recently. However the person went OTT with the wax and got it in every nook and cranny., including all around the headlamp washers. I’m sure I’ve read somewhere that is it possible to raise these and leave them raised to allow for ‘proper’ cleaning and removal of all the dried on wax. But I can’t remember where I read that or how to do it. Help appreciated. thanks.

I have, but I couldn’t live with them for long/permanently. Going from 19’s which look super sexy to 17’s is like swapping a skimpy thong for a pair of Bridget Jones’ big knickers (not that I wear either, but I know what looks good!) 😂😂😂

Looking seriously to sell my lovely wagon now. I’m gutted to be thinking this, but tbh I’ve just got my 2nd set of 3 points on my license and it’s just tooooo easy to go fast in it. But the main reason is the pot holes! I’ve just purchased a replacement pret from VW and at £875 a piece and pot holes more common place now than speed cameras, I think the time has probably come to get a Jeep Wrangler with huge fat tyres and not quite enough power to weigh to rip the skin off a rice pudding. For those interested watch out for my beautiful lapis blue estate popping up in the classifieds section on this forum sometime in the next month or so. 😢😢😢

I decided to only run the chip for a little while. Extremely happy with the extra power but worried that it may possibly cause long term damage to the engine (probably not something that would actually happen at all, due to the safeguards VW put in place, but I wasn’t happy taking the risk). Tbh, 300bhp is plenty enough to get my license revoked....I really don’t need any extra to push me in that direction (6 points now!) 😢😢😢
