    Engine Cover Idea

No problem mate, happy to help. The cover got tired after a few removals and eventually the clip failed meaning it did sit in place but was easily ‘wobbled’ if touched as you say. VW stopped using this cover as some did fail and fall in to the belt area causing damage/failure to other components. When mine became loose I looked at the alternative of this Tiguan cover but did need to research the two screws I’ve shown as this raises the cover to provide enough clearance for the oil filter housing. Budget around £95 if you do all this from new through TPS. IMO, it’s a much cleaner and more secure look over OEM and the small engine cover. I’m not one for dressing engine bays up anyway but it just sort of fits in with everything else and keeps a sort of stock’ish look, which I like a whole lot! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Engine Cover Idea

Did this earlier this year after the lower engine cover failed on me. You need the cover and 2 new screws as shown in the pictures. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    APR Stage 2.6 Map Released

I have dyno from the day it was flashed APR at the height of the hot summer we just had when I switched from another tuner. I also have dyno (same dyno used) when I attended a rolling road meet up a few days after having v2.6 flashed. This was the first week in October and really cold. Summer 393 bhp 410 ft/lbs (old file). Winter 402 bhp 412 ft/lbs (new file). The only stage 2 on the day to break the 400 barrier. I think for me the GFB DV+ is working well. I could put the stock DV back in and see if dragy GPS times improved but I don’t think they will. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I can’t say I’m noticing anything else different. Still feels as strong as it did before the update. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    APR Stage 2.6 Map Released

I’ve had it a good while now. This was where I was stuck before the update. This is where I’m at now. I’m confident a 3.2s is coming. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    APR hand held mapping

They do have an OBD dongle that works with a smartphone app. Capable of logging, code reading etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. How bad is the noise and also dust? I’m looking at these for the rear only. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Whilst it isn’t quite as local as you’ve asked, have a chat with Shak at Lowndes Street Garage over in Bolton. He is a personal friend of mine and will be able to answer any of your questions on this. He supplies, fits and can set you on your way with a custom map 6. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    100-200 kmh times Vbox/Dragy

I sincerely wish you the best of luck with that. I think 8.8s maybe an 8.7s at full weight will be the very best I can get. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That’s a winter time. I didn’t call it rubbish, Rick did. I’m now APR and in the sub 9s bracket in summer temperatures already so really looking forward to winter coming. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
