  1. Definitely [emoji7] i just love the look, the sound, the interior etc... of the F type and i can still get the dog in the back of a coupe too, only just mind ha ha although i wouldnt want her in it to be honest. Ive not actually driven one yet though, my local jaguar dealership only had a few v8 in when i went looking and i would rather test drive what i could potentially afford. Dont get me wrong i know they are a different ball game entirely from the R but theres just something about them. From what ive read up the 3.0ltr v6 is a very similar engine to the Audi b8 s4’s and is very tunable. Not that i would want to but its there if wanted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Not been on for a while guys [emoji6] still alive and still in the 7R though. Love the R and probably wont change for another year or so yet but im definitely hooked on the F type jags. Ive been looking for a while now and A S/H v6 supercharged is in a very reasonable price bracket. Would love the v8 but they are way out of my budget. Would only be a coupe too, no roadster/soft top for me lol Just have to convince the mrs that she needs something a bit bigger than the current cooper S to negate the lack of a practical side to the jag ha ha [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Ive not got dcc on my golf but had it on my previous Scirocco and they where quite badly corroded but was never an issue. 10 plate and part x’d june this year with no issues on the actual connections to the shocks. What was an issue and i had to replace all of them was the level sensors on the lower arms. Not sure how the golfs are set up but there was one lever level sensor on each front lower arm and the back left arm. These ended up snapping off due to the nut/bot holding them onto the bracket which attached them to the arms corroding and then failing and i had the rear and front left actual sensors fail (possibly due to the battering of the elements on them?) Just something for you to watch out for if the set ups the same thats all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Gloss black for me [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Im sure the ones pictured in original post are the ones shown to be in the R400? They even have the same yellow piping accents like the car has externally and the door shut is the same colour as the typical R400 pics we all see [emoji6] I would have to drive the car with them first before deciding. They do look lovely but as a daily are they comfy enough? I dont mind the standard seats in mine and think they are rather good all round. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. £250 per month (loan over 4 yrs and px to buy the R) Insurance was £350 up front annually so around £29 per month. (Im 29, had my license 10 yr and its clean, my partner is on as named driver same age and years driving, wouldnt say i live in a perfect area but its not bad and is a suburb village.) £190 tax up front annually Fuel about £110 a month depending, i only live 5 miles from work [emoji6] All this is pretty irrelevant though as i wouldnt have the car if i couldnt afford to run it. Its still less than my mortgage oer month so im happy, The mortgage will always be priority so if for some reason my circumstances change then its bye bye golf [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Just the R for me and the misses has recently chopped her bmw 118D in and picked up a 15 reg mini cooper S (newer bmw 2.0 T engine) fully specced and if im honest its a cracking little car [emoji16] with plenty of poke for what it is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Im not sure if the online system is automated so will have no issues working when over holidays or weekends? But when i traded my Scirocco in i litrally took the plate off on dvla online as i was sat in the car at vw just before driving away in the golf [emoji6] i didnt put the plate onto the golf though just retained it as its the insurance thats the bugger and mess around to sort out on the minuite [emoji6] Changing the plate is the easy bit but changing the insurance to suite is probably a different game all together? 9. Know your pain [emoji6] recently scuffed one of my own alloys. Doesn’t look too bad though yours, easily refurbed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Weather people are a fans of it or not your car doesnt have it at all. To me the car has been supplied with missing parts and therefore the dealer should refit one and if you dont like it then you can turn it off or lower the volume. I quite like it if im honest but etto ay. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Cant think of a much better replacement [emoji106] love the F type especially the coupe. Enjoy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Mines just ticked over to 22,000 and the cars not due a service until around may next year by the book. Dealer stamped it at 19,500 (2nd service) just before i bought it (its a 15 plate) i think i will be doing the haldex oil myself shortly for piece of mind [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Nope that dash trim does not have a light in it unfortunatly. It would have been a nice touch to go with the door trims and door plates. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Cheers don, mine isnt a panoramic so is a standard mk7 screen, the technician did say they changed slightly after 2016 and thinks its the mk7.5 that had a slight change. The windscreen is a pilkington screen too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
