Beautiful condition, fastidiously taken care of, OEM+ subtly modified Feb 2017 MK7 VW Golf R DSG in glorious iconic Lapiz Blue with a recorded 2 Owners (original owner was my dad who only had the car a few weeks before I bought it) and 40,300m, MOT until 08.02.2022. This Golf R is immaculate and has been very well cared for by me having only ever run on Shell V-Power with FVWSH until 2020 when the last service was done by renowned VAG experts MRC in Banbury where they carried out a Full Service and Inspection also upgrading the coil pack & spark plugs at the same time to get the best from the mods listed below. MRC service was carried out on 14th Oct 2020 @ 37124m. The performance modifications have been carried out to carefully enhance the already fantastic Golf R and are: - Burger Tuning JB1 VW Performance Tuner (adding a very reliable (also undetectable and removable) safe 35whp and 45ft lb Torque (fitted May 2018) - BCS Powervalve Turbo Back Exhaust system with 200 cell cat and ceramic black trims (fitted Aug 2017) - DTUK VAG 3712 Max Response Pedal Box System - Autowatch Ghost Immobiliser for the very best in vehicle security (fitted Oct 2017) - GMP Italia ATOM 19inch Black Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels (fitted Aug 2017) with Michelin Pilot Super 4S Tyres (F = 7mm & R = 5mm) - Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs (fitted Mar 2017) - Forge Alloy Wheel Spacers (fitted Aug 2017) - Full Maxton Skirts, Diffuser and Roof Spoiler (fitted Mar 2018) - Artisan Automotive full Detail with Ceramic Coating of paint, alloys and glass ( May 2019 ) As you can see the mods have been fitted for many miles and together, they have proven to be very reliable and of very high quality bringing the next level of usable performance to the already brilliant 'R' whilst also keeping the comfort and everyday driveability/usability of the Golf. I have never timed performance runs but would not be surprised that this R can do 0-60mph in well under 4secs - it's simply awesome as the 4WD puts the power down smoothly with the accompanying epic noise from the Powervalve exhaust sounding incredible as it flies past 3k revs. The ride on the Eibach springs with the VW fitted DCC (Dynamic Chassis Control system) gives a great blend of comfort and sports handling and is never crashy or harsh. The MK7 Golf R is a genuinely ‘once-in-a-generation’ brilliant car right from the factory. It just does everything a small performance hatch should to a very high level. I have built on that to realise this OEM+ Golf R that offers all the usability, versatility and reliability of the factory Golf R but with the performance it should have been given from VW.
