Had same situation. Maintenence lease w/ Auto Lease - They selected 2 years/18,000 miles. Service light came on after 12 months, dealer just turned it off! Not much I could do! 🤷‍♂️

Did mine at about 550miles whoops.. couldn't wait!!! 😂 - Puts a massive smile on my face every time, such a quick car! Friends/Family impressed too 👍

They sort of contradicted themselves, they said it was a component when they diagnosed it but on the job sheet they gave me when they had completed it stated ‘New HMI unit’ - guess I’ll never know!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This didn’t work unfortunately, just can’t seem to get those menus back, also when I chose driving mode it doesn’t come up on the middle screen when I am cycling through? Can you just conform the software reset process again? Is it just a factory reset of all settings? As this is what I did. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah so that’s not my car, when I go on the same menu as that photo, none of the options come up other than sport, the others such as conv. Cons, think blue, driving data etc are all missing Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Seem to be having an issue with my 7.5r The ‘Car’ menu on the centre screen only seems to be showing two displays, lap timer and performance monitor Also when I change driving mode, nothing coming up on the centre screen, where usually it would show you cycling through the modes or lets you touch the screen to chose the mode. I’m unable to find the consumption menus for example, they just aren’t there! Did a hard reset earlier holding down the button for 10 secs, no change, Anyone else had this? Agree with this entirely, I have had the same thoughts at some point. Agree with the pan roof, just love the look of it when open, but does have drawbacks. I will have a think...

Hi Guys, I love the look of my white silver 7.5 R, with black prets black mirrors and tints. However, I think I'd love it even more if it had a panoramic roof! What do you guys think of me getting the roof part wrapped up to the point where the glass of the pan roof finishes, to replicate the look of a closed pan roof? As I'm not a huge fan the way a full roof wrap looks on an R. I'd really appreciate it if someone could post a birds eye view picture of their R with pan roof and let me know the measurements/length of the roof (have looked online for this and cannot find exactly the right picture) I will then be able to enquire at some local wrapping companies for quotations. This is a pretty cheap, easy job surely? Thanks in advance.

Had another recall in relation to this - something to do with VW changing their mind on the part number used, meaning they need to re-do the work done previously? Anyone else?

Yep, ever since IOS12 this has no longer worked as it used to. Exactly the same has always worked fine if carplay is on but not using nav. Nav would always appear in instrument cluster/active display - odd! Totally agree, mobile app far better than nav, I just like to use the head up nav occasionally, even if i'm not using it to go anywhere.

Tried this too, force closed the app on my iPhone, and then put the map up in the active info display ahead of me, plugged my phone in, and then still says phone sat nav is being used!
