  1. Cheers Jamie, I loved the 3.0 lump acceleration and looks but tbh it was numb around the bendy parts. I wouldn’t swap it back now I’ve had the 7.5R for 6 months I just love it despite its niggles!
  2. The WLTP testing is going to have massive implications on new cars, any that are built but not sold before September 1st 2018 will be destroyed apparently. If I was planning to buy new now, I’d hang fire until and snag a pre-built bargain later in the Summer.
  3. Trying to demonstrate how a Silver White never stays the same colour from one minute to the next. All pics apart from the last one haven’t been filtered or edited and taken moments apart.
  4. There are no two days back to back when this colour looks the same, God bless the changeable British weather
  5. One of a handful sold in the UK....spotted from a distance in Sainsbury’s, Exeter.
  6. 3.0l s/c in Ibis white, bought on 12k miles over 3 years ago, has been my daily runner and despite drinking oil it hasn’t missed a beat.
  7. I love this! Its journey sure beats it being shipped into Grimsby and the on a transporter to Wigan 🤓
  8. I'm sure it's common knowledge but CarWow charge a commission to the dealership. Some dealerships would prefer to include a small bonus item(s), few quid off or other incentive rather than paying the referral fee to Carwow, it's at least a bargaining chip in your favour. Just go through the process but when CarWow email you and ask if you completed the sale, just say no. It worked for and others, dealerships tend to frown on similar sites.
  9. A quick 120 mile round trip today let her stretch her legs a little, and no word of a lie even stock it’s an absolute weapon. On the M62 I found myself actually questioning how a 2 litre 4 pot engine could pick up so damned quickly. This car accelerated at 4K rpm quicker than I can recollect in my 3.0l supercharged Audi S5. Just astonishing!
  10. Less than a week of ownership here and trust me you guys waiting are not likely to be disappointed!
  11. Initially kicking off with the handover pic for posterity, as I’m sure it won’t stay this clean and shiny for too long.
  12. I’m unable to do a proper forum search at the moment and I realise this will be covered off in other threads but I think I’ve made an error by buying 3rd party Gap insurance from ALA. I didn’t realise that my fully comprehensive insurance would replace my R in the first 12 months. So my hurried question is, who has bought Gap insurance on a new car on or soon after delivery? (Sorry Mods, please move the post if it’s inappropriate here) Thanks
