I have a MK7 non GTI non R and I had to take off the feet for the shelf to sit flush with the spare. Programming made a huge difference for me, very much recommended.

In the forum I linked earlier the OP posted: Which follows the results you got with your scan. I wonder why the Discover Pro doesn't work with the original helix dsp but does work with the Helix PP 62DSP?

I just wanted to let you know that I've read about someone else having this exact issue a year or so ago when I was reading up on the helix before purchasing one. I've tried finding the thread so I could link it for any possible solutions, but I'm as of yet unable to find it. If I do I'll be sure to post it. I want to say it was on the golfmk7 forum. Sorry I can't be of more help!

I'm also looking to get my hands on the programming dongle. What area are you in?
