Top work rams. Be interested to hear how it sounds as the only gripe I had with my gti was the engine note, or lack of. Just picked up an e91 335i touring in black. Getting Ryan to detail it next week and apply a ceramic coat and this weekend I'm looking to sort engine and gearbox remap. Hoping after new year to decat the downpipes like you and fmic. But for now stg1 remap will do I asked Jay to possibly look at the paint but he's done his back in. Not sure I still have your number. Have to sort a weekend drive out or curry

There's been reported cases where keys kept near a front door can have their signal picked up, cloned and then that signal used to unlock and drive away the car. I dont have keyless and would be happy to, however I never leave any car keys downstairs in our house, just a habit i've got into.

I have the circular enclosure in my GTI, I cant compare the sound without it but the sound with has never left me wanting more. The bass is very controllable and I've never felt the need to have it set above 5 points, the rest of the sound is very crisp and it copes well with highs and vocals. The fact I can retain my boot space and keep this ontop of the spare wheel is ingenious, however i think you have to lose the spare wheel on the R?

As you've said it really depends on the location and how well that insurers knows the postcode as to whether they feel the risk is low. Despite being a pain it's always worth phoning around each year, and a good thing now is insurers must tell you in the renewal what your last years premium was to compare

LV are an excellent company, not just because i work fo them but because they do genuinely strive to be the best. However I personally have always had modified cars so have used Highway, Chris Knott, Brentacre and HIC to name a few. with a standard car tho comparison sites are great and will do most of the work for you, however dont be afraid to call the insurer as these aggregator sites all take a commission from the insurer so they might be able to offer something better using their own direct website?

Very nice. I had a 135i before and it was an awesome car, more so with the MHD remap to circa 390bhp. I can only imagine how the M2 must feel. I had a spirite drive with one the other month in my GTI @ 333bhp, the M2 pulled away but not by much

The CLA45 has always been in the back of my mind as a 4 door alternative. The new Mercs do have a lovely look and stance about them.

Finally got my 2 missing tyres so I could fit my gloss gunmetal pretoria reps. Happy with the results. Even on 19x8.5 feel the rears could come out a further 5mm but very drivable as is. Can't fault CM wheels. First class service and would definitely recommend them 👌
