  1. A47 Fort Parkway one of the boy racers ‘circuit’ in Birmingham. The worst thing is this happens more often than people will know in Birmingham... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Ouch. One of the reasons I no longer buy brand new. But like Raiden I’d have to learn to love it for another year or 2. [emoji51] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Police presence too Especially in Birmingham. Gone are the days of going through “rougher” areas of Birmingham and seeing any police. But that’s a discussion for another day Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Sad to hear. This is becoming the norm especially in the Midlands. A friend of mine had an attempted burglary within a week of ownership, then sold it within 2 months because of the paranoia. Another security measure which hasn’t been mentioned on this thread (but may have been mentioned on the bigger thread) is getting a security film for window - of course personal circumstances and how far you’ll go will depend if you’d expect to pay this. Hope everything goes well, it be a shame if you didn’t keep your R. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Like all the above... If you can afford & wait for the right one within your budget, get the RS3, as capable as the R is you may regret not choosing the RS3 especially as they hold their prices very well. Even decent condition 8P’s are 20k + Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Congrats on the change. Exactly how I’d want mine. Subtle, under the radar. Enjoy it whilst you can, before we all go electric. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. It’ll be the VC + colour (unless it’s a free option or the leasing company added on to the price anyway). If that was just the only option I’d go for it for 3 years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. If you’re to lease a car. Don’t go crazy on options as you’ll pay the full amount of the option you choose over the period of the agreement making it tad more expensive Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. If you’ve got a spare few mins watching : https://www.youtube.com/c/carfinancesimplified He does spreadsheets which have helped me in the past and he also explains what may or may not be the best way to get your new wheels. At the end of the day it’s up to you (& the Mrs) to what’s the best & most affordable way Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I echo Martins comment above. It will increase the monthlies by how much I don’t know but from another car brand I may or may not have been looking at previously (lol) I think for every £1000 you put in it was something lime £30-35 less the monthlies are. It’s all up to your personal circumstances. Personally what I’d do is the same as Martin use the discounts to your advantage and pay it off via bank loan/transfer within 14 days to get little to no interest charges
  11. It’s to do with the GFV being higher. Not trying to tell you how to spend you and the Mrs money but I think , unless you’re to keep the car past the 36months, a large deposit on a PCP is £££’s you’ll never recoup. - Happy to be corrected on both accounts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. When I had my illegal number plates on going into an APNR controlled multi-storey parking my number plate would read with no problems ‘XXXXX’ even when I got a few parking tickets lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. As it is an MOT fail then wouldn’t this “technically” invalidate insurance - as your car needs to be road legal for valid insurance.? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. AutoGlanz Spritzer is very good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. From the YouTube comments around £20-25k (Not taking into account the fees he’d put for selling the vehicle) But I do think his definitely in the plus. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
