  1. And well here’s a photo of the beauty (still dirty because I can’t take it to where o want).
  2. Hello guys how all of you are doing? I’m still waiting for the license plates, this COVID-19 is fuc*# everything up 🤬 Anyways, is there any place where I can get the owners manual in pdf, the one that I have is in German.
  3. Well guys sorry for the delay but it was worth it. So I payed a little bit more and went for the Lapiz Blue, Perfomance pack ( 2018 with 310bhp) with bigger brakes and akrapovid exhaust it also has panoramic roof, DCC and the black Pretoria wheels. I think I’m in love I have to wait for the “legal” license plates but the car is already in my garage. Once I get the plates, I’m gonna wash it and take some photos. It’s simply amazing...
  4. I always get the felling that estates are a little bit for older people, in a good way of course. I’m not that young also
  5. I think my mind is set. I will let you know when the R is on my hands Thank you so much for all your advice, it’s was more helpful than you guys can imagine
  6. never get too much of looking at the R ive notice that a lot of you guys have in fact the 300ps version. Anyone with 310ps? the only thing I’m happy about is that no matter what, any of the versions seem to let everyone happy, so I’ll probably have no regrets either way
  7. Both of them have it, or just the 310ps?
  8. Hi Cogito thanks for your feedback. the reason why I’m brought up the 300 and 310ps was because I didn’t understand if the there’s a significant difference, and if there was, what was it... like you, I’m not gonna do track days, it’s performance on the street that matters, but the differences on price, mileage and specs on the 300 and 310 versions I’m looking are practically non existente, thats why I wanted to know, in similar cases, what version would people choose. With all of your advice (thanks for that yet again ) I’ve seen that probably the main difference was: not talking about tyres, warranty, etc... 300ps particle filter have a single port direct injection 310ps no filter dual injection (fuel rail) based on this, the 310ps version have a better motor. Is this correct?
  9. I have to admit, my mkv Gti tornado red was really fast
  10. Will do. thanks again for all the help.
  11. Thanks for all the messages guys, it was really helpful on this one: Volkswagen Golf R 2.0 TSI Navi LED SHZ ACC Keyless Entry First Registration: 07/2018 Mileage: 20.021 km Fuel Type: Petrol Price: 33 270 € they offer me one year warranty and the first check up when I buy the car, all of them have full service history. they are a vw official seller (there’s probably a name for this in English that I don’t know) so they very reliable. as for the colour I have to go for the blue, it’s my favourite one and also I don’t how it is on your country but in Portugal, I think there’s only 5 golf r in total, 2 greys, 1 black, 1 blue and 1 white and I already have one black and one white car. The mkv Gti was the tornado red. Once again thank you, never thought this would be so friendly and responsive
  12. Once again thank you so much guys for all the answers, it’s really helping (and also making me think). But the cars I’m looking for are basically the same. For you guys to understand what I’m saying. These are the two from 2018: I found this offer at mobile.de: https://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/details.html?id=293077067&utm_source=com.apple.UIKit.activity.CopyToPasteboard&utm_medium=ios Volkswagen Golf R 2.0 TSI DSG 4Motion + KLIMA +LED+NAVI+ALU First Registration: 06/2018 Construction Year: 2018 Mileage: 20.420 km Fuel Type: Petrol Price: 34 485 € I found this offer at mobile.de: https://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/details.html?id=294044403&utm_source=com.apple.UIKit.activity.CopyToPasteboard&utm_medium=ios Volkswagen Golf R 2.0 TSI Navi LED SHZ ACC Keyless Entry First Registration: 07/2018 Mileage: 20.021 km Fuel Type: Petrol Price: 33 270 € and these are the two from 2019 I found this offer at mobile.de: https://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/details.html?id=296175318&utm_source=com.apple.UIKit.activity.CopyToPasteboard&utm_medium=ios Volkswagen Golf R 2.0TSI*DSG*Navi*LED*SpurAssis*ALU"19" First Registration: 02/2019 Mileage: 16.255 km Fuel Type: Petrol Price: 34 650 € I found this offer at mobile.de: https://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/details.html?id=296432636&utm_source=com.apple.UIKit.activity.CopyToPasteboard&utm_medium=ios Volkswagen Golf VII 2.0 TSI R 4Motion,DSG,Navi,LED Klima First Registration: 02/2019 Mileage: 16.676 km Fuel Type: Petrol Price: 34 580 € I like the Pretoria in black or silver, it doesn’t matter. Which one would you guys choose, and why? Or better yet, what’s the best car? It just seems that the 310ps doesn’t have nothing to complaint about, while the 300ps its an amazing car but... Im not gonna tune it for now (but I know that a lot of people say the same), definitely not gonna do track days. Not my daily driver but I’m sure as hell gonna ride a lot of times. I’m coming from a mkv Gti. It’s just my favourite car and I want the best version (motor) of it. Thank you for you patient guys. I’ll try not to be a pain in the ass with this, I really just want to get all the questions out of the way.
  13. Thank you so much NRW, what you have explained here was exactly what I was looking for From my understanding the emissions are not really a problem from the 310ps to the 300ps, i mean it’s “just” more expensive to buy one than the other right? Or is there anything else? Just to get one thing straight, I’m assuming the fuel rail is a good thing and the OPF is a bad one right? in terms of performance I mean. In reality, I just the better car... The “intake manifold” problem the EA888 engine you’ve mentioned is in the 300ps version right. The ones that I’m looking on Mobile, two are from 2018 (June and July) with 310 and the other one is from 2019 (February I think). Ive always wanted the 310ps but when I searched the newer models it got me thinking if the newer ones were better. Once again thank you so much for your answer.
