Hello, It seems Im a little lost regarding these items and wondering if I can get a little help on deciding what I should go for. I need to replace my current front brake discs & Pads (factory) after 40k miles. I was hoping to get a more visually appealing set (slotted and dimpled perhaps) but I cant quite work out what ones are a solid recommendation and my searches havent helped nail this down. Mtec vs EBC vs Brembo and not to mention the colour coded pads from EBC have me going round in circles. Setup is as follows: Daily driver No track days, but drive/brake a little bit agressive on the big empty roads. Ideally would like to not have the unsightly rust on the discs after 1 rainy day, but I gather thats a lot to do with break dust and wear, so with that, Im assuming I'd want the redstuff EBC pads but again, not sure about the details here. Lastly, as mentioned, I want something nonstock and have a bit of a sporty look so, slotted and dimpled was my thinking (as I personally like how they look) but, Ive read that the drilled/dimpled can warp due to the structural "looseness" of them. Basically Im not sure what company I should be looking at or how much I should be spending, or what to get! (budget can stretch to 400 or so if its the right choice) Appreciate any guidance or recommendations here!
