Can I ask which endoscope you purchased from Amazon…. Nothing at all to do with dropping several washers and nuts in the bonnet, just out interest is all.

Another 48h later I was then at 5c. Think I was quite lucky that the boat arrived just before mine arrived at the port meaning the move through the stages was quite smooth. It has however been in the UK for two days now. The boat has left and I have not heard a thing. I can imagine stage 6 will be triggered on arrival at dealership, with 7 then triggering following PDI. That is a complete guess and only based of where the other status updates possibly take effect. Pretty sure internal VW status codes are more granular and the customer facing stages are just piggybacking. The 5B/C stage has and internal status code of ST38, which was quoted to me as meaning on boat. I reckon the move from ST38 to the next status was the trigger for 5C... again guess work.

What port are you expecting your car to arrive at in the UK? As I understand it cars do not get their at 5b flag ticked until they have had boat allocation. If the boat that passes your destination port is still on its rounds you will not get to the next stage until it docks, its route is planned and allocation is given (5b). Seems like it Is very much luck as to whether it takes a day or 1/2 weeks, as it is totally dependent on where the boat is at the time the car arrives. Neckar Highway arrived at Emden yesterday and is awaiting route and cargo allocation. Fingers crossed this will be collecting a bucket load of VWs, but again it’ll depend what UK port it is destined for. Does not look to be a pattern; some go to the same port for weeks then change it up a little, presumably there are a number of factors like how busy the port and lanes are.

Mine is the same. Move to 5c this morning, likely on this whopper.

Does anyone have any idea what port VW Leeds use. Seem to remember the last car I got from them came into Tyne but that was dealer stock and Grimsby is technically closer, albeit just 30 mins and less direct?

Hi all.. First time posting here, but longtime follower. Placed my order 14/12, and as of today can see I have a build week confirmed on the tracker (after weeks of frustration seeing people’s Jan and Feb orders coming to fruition). Last word from the dealer was week 17 unconfirmed over two weeks ago. Although I have sent a few emails asking for updates now not got word back from them, so today’s news is welcomed. Not been too precious about chasing previously as as I understand it’s out of their control, but what is interesting is the sales rep I have been speaking to advised that he would raise the issue of order to build time with the new car sales manager who would then relay to his line manager. Not to sure what this would achieve like, but may be something to consider for those who have been waiting like myself. Anyhows, spec as follows: Black DCC Akra PP Winter Pack HUD Pan Roof ✌🏼
