  1. Yeah i think you could be right about being for hatchback or wagon, possibly different weight ratings. Managed to get 2 from ebay so I’ll see how they go. If no good then them Bilstein ones look spot on 👍
  2. Hi everyone, just had an MOT, no advisories but failed on a rear nearside spring snap. Im after replacing the rear pair with stock springs. As Ive seen a lot if people changing out the OEM springs, does anybody have a fairly low mileage pair that have been took off they are selling? Also, when researching part numbers, I seem to see slightly different numbers/letters before or after the main part number ‘5q0511115’. Anyone know what they mean or if it makes any difference?
  3. I agree! I used ChipsAway, who are quite and established body repair company not just a back street one so i thought they might do a better job.
  4. Thankyou for the welcome i love the car! Yeah you can feel the slight indentations it has caused so will go down to the shop to see what they think if i dont hear back from them. Was wondering whether to try T-cut on them however i dont think it will be abrasive enough to help.. but they cant get any worse to be honest.
  5. Hi everyone, recently got a Mk7 R and decided to get some stone chips filled in on the bonnet. I suspect they have sprayed something on the bonnet to clean it beforehand and some has gone onto the headlights. It look like it has dried in and seems to have ‘melted’ the plastic leaving lots of little marks that almost look like stone chips themselves but cannot be. I am awaiting reply from the repair shop. Does anyone have any idea how to clean or remove these marks? Thanks in advance. https://www.flickr.com/photos/193374756@N07/? (Images in link)
