  1. Hi Dan, thanks for the info. I ended up fitting M5 cinch nuts to mine and sealing with silicone. Interestingly, the plastic surround on the driver side speaker was split in several places, so even if the seals had been working, water could still have gotten through. I’m guessing the damage to the speaker was caused at the factory when it was originally fitted[emoji848] Cheers, Mark Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Failing that, does anyone know what size the speaker mounting holes in the door are? Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Hi, does anyone know what size rivets are needed for the front speakers? Mine are leaking…[emoji849] Cheers, Mark Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Thanks Russell. Only had my estate for just over a Month, so still early days for me. I do love driving it though - any excuse to take it out! Thanks for you help bud and have a great Christmas! Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Hi Russell, thanks for feeding back. I guess the moist and wet wind deflector is just another “feature” on the panoramic roof. Just worried that the damp will start to cause mould eventually[emoji849] Cheers, Mark Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Hi, question for all of you with the panoramic roof fitted. Do you get moisture build up under the front lip of the roof? This is the area that sits over the drain area and the pop up wind deflector. The car interior is dry and my drain channel’s are clear of blockages, but moisture is forming and making the wind deflector wet. Is this normal or should I be worried? Many thanks, Mark Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Cheers bud. Always good to join the forum and meet like minded people as well! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Hi, I’ve owned my estate just over two weeks now and am absolutely loving it! I’ve come from a 2006 A4 Avant, so although everything feels familiar, the Golf is so much nicer to drive. I managed to pick up one with leather, Discover Nav Pro, Rear camera and 19’s for only a little bit more than I wanted to spend - I think it was worth it though! I’ve got a couple of bits to do; one of the rear seat lock/ unlocked indicators is stuck up and I want to clean under the front window scuttle. Are there any guides on how to do these? Cheers, Mark Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
