Hi all, hope someone can help. I'm installing the vibe audio rapid fit amp wiring kit and the mini 20 amp fuse connects to the glovebox fuse box via piggy back connection. I can't see an appropriate location to plug it into. There are no other 20 amp mini fuses (I am told you must pair them up to the same amp fuse). There are plenty of unused locations and I guess I could try to see if any are live and none permanent live, but am I risking damaging the car? Thought id ask the wise one's of this forum first. I've also included a picture of the current situation. For some reason I can't insert it into the post so added a link The existing piggy back cable is for my dashcam. Cheers Here

I have MIB2. Its a 2016 Mk7. I just want a bigger screen than the current one. Not the glass one from the 7.5.

Hi all, New to the forum. I have a 16 plate R with the Delphi 6.5 screen, think it's called discover? It has nav. I have just activates Apple carplay and I am looking to get an 8 inch screen, not the one from the 7.5, but I have a few questions.. 1. Do I have to get a Delphi screen or not? 2. Will I retain apple carplay? 3. What is the correct name/ part number for the 8 inch screen? Cheers in advance. Steve

Hi all, first post. This week I picked up a Mk7 R to replace my stage 1 M140i. Car is: 2016, white, 5 door, 18's, DSG with leather, reverse camera and a few other options that I can't remember. Got bored of the M140i traction issues in winter along with the ride and suspension overall and always fancied an R and one came up that I couldn't say no to. Plan is to keep for the summer and maybe trade up to an RS3/7.5R or similar. So far the ability to get traction in the wet is impressive and overall so much more comfortable. Had the car 2 days and so far all I have done is activate apple car play and fit a dashcam. Plans are for: Helix sub, 8" discover screen and maybe an engine and DSG tune. Oh and source some more Cadiz wheels as mine were resprayed last week in gun metal grey and I'm not a fan.
