So I removed the Racechip had a trip to see Rick at Unicorn on Thursday for an engine and DSG remap - very very happy with how the R drives. After the dyno run my car was making 315HP stock prior to remap so was pleased and surprised at how strong it was, (standard other than BCS power valve Cat back system with 23000 miles on the clock). After Rick had worked his magic and running on the dyno again my R was now showing 370HP - very happy! It was never about top end figures for me - it was really important how the car drove and I am so happy with how it does drive now - its completely smooth but so bloody fast, the gear changes are so much better as well with the DSG map, and also the throttle response is just about perfect now - its the very first thing I noticed as I pulled away. The race chip was good, however Rick's tune is in a completely different league and the way the DSG reacts now along with the improved throttle response just makes the car so amazing to drive - would definitely recommend anybody thinking of a tune to give Rick at Unicorn a call.
