So I was just about to purchase the Turbo Technica Intake Hose (and bell mouth) to be used with the stock airbox (and engine for now until stage 1 is done) I did some further digging online and now I am stuck in the mud as to if it’s even useful apart from looking great? So I’ve seen claims that it could potentially cause damage due to the silicone not having flex in and with the engine moving ‘substancially’ it could come off... This sounds logical but I can imagine it’s extremely rare but I’d have to keep an eye out. The extra 10BHP or whatever is insignificant to me so can anyone offer any experience as to how it has changed the cars driving feel, If at all? It looks great in the bay but for £180+ Im now starting to think it’s just a cosmetic mod moreso than a performance one.
