What detailing have you done today?

Really nice job. Car looks great, even with the retrofitted halogens 😄

I caught a bush in a narrow lane recently and need to gently machine the side of the car but not till it gets milder - well done for braving it.

Haha thanks Jon.

Ah thats a shame but hopefully a machine polish will get it out. I got a 2 inch very light surface scratch on the front wing I noticed today. I'm confident the machine polisher will bring it out though.

I've been putting it off for ages but today I thought bugger it, was only planning on giving it a quick clean. 4 hours later I was finished 😂

Rubbed my Pipe more vigorous than ever before! (all 4 of them).

They were quite bad and the black stuff felt baked hard on. Some intense rubbing with Autosol brought them up nice and shiny again. Think there is some Pitting or permanent marks on the bottom lip of the pipe ends as they’re ever so slightly rough and you can see blemishes on them.

Finally got round to cleaning it for the first time in approximately 2 months.

Was nearly dark by the time I had finished so took these 2 pics under one of the spotlights in my local Morrisons lol. Really annoys me how the front headlights look yellow in this picture.

Good advert picture for the 2 bucket method.

Looks a great job, car looks excellent. Satisfying to see the two buckets doing their thing!

Can’t beat a shiny set of tailpipes!

No matter how well you keep them they do seem to pitt on that lower lip, much more so than the mk5 and mk6 tailpipes did IMO.

Still, well worth keeping on top of as the alternative is much worse!

Applied a fresh coat of Adams Guard and Gloss. Lovin the shine you get from this.

Did mine on Sunday. Only a quick rinse mind. Been impressed with poorboys wheel sealant. Forgot to put bilberry for my wheels on my Xmas list so santa didn't bring any.

Did 2 lots of snow foam then 2 bucket method then dry. Nothing else done.
