I would say these are genuine wheels. centre caps look correct and also the depth/position of the wheels nut covers. Replica wheels look a little different to this in said areas.

The best quality replica wheels that I have found are by a company called WSP Italy, they are quite expensive in comparison to other reps on the market as I'm sure they're around a grand (give or take) but all made in Europe I believe.

That doesn't look good, what caused it?

Probably a lot more than a rep wheel “failing” for no reason.

I’ve run loads of reps in the past. If it’s just for Winter.....why worry as you’ll be (hopefully) driving carefully too.

Remember the B5 RS4 wheel debacle????

I took my OEM prets for a refurb and three of the four were buckled.

Iirc this was a car in the USA a good while back and was a fatal smash where it wouldn’t matter what type of wheels you had as they definitely wouldn’t be designed for that heavy an impact and it’s an oem Pretoria and not a replica in any case pictured here.

Was this a rep?it looks like it has a genuine Vw centre caps which don’t fit the reps I’ve had.
