Luke_M87
I've been through 10 pages of this forum and searched, but cannot seem to find anything on this. Any detailing gurus have a recommendation for cleaning our MK7 seats? Mainly the Alcantara side panels, does this stuff act like suede when it gets wet? I have both Auto Finesse Total interior cleaner and Auto Glym Interior Shampoo, could i use either of these? The panels appear fairly clean, but on the drivers bolsters i seem to have a small amount of bobbling, which looks more like its from my clothes then the material breaking down. Is there a good brush for seat cleaning that anyone would recommend?
Raiden
I have the AF and autoglym you have. I used the shampoo to get a stain off when I bought the car and I just use the AF if there's any dust my Dyson vacuum can't get off. I bought ages ago from slims detailing a cloth interior water/stain resistant spray and that's seems to have kept the stains at bay. My nephew split some coke in it the other day and it came off with just water. So far so goodSent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk Luke_M87

Luke_M87
So it sounds like as long as you don't soak the fabric you can clean as you would the seats normally. My car's are always no food, no drink allowed especially for the kids. I know it's just a car at the end of the day, but I just can't be dealing with something being mashed into the seats or carpets! Or chocolate melted onto the seat 😖 My oldest managed to drop an ice cream in the other halves car 2 years ago and it took a good 3 attempts to get clean.
