You can definitely tell the difference 10hp makes. Just ask the guys with cold air intakes -  who claim to be able to feel a 5hp ‘increase’ let alone 10hp 😜

Is this really an issue? 

 

I mean, turbo cars make more power than stated in the brochure anyway. . . So in reality, it probably still makes the brochure power figure you were expecting. If it makes more torque (as the TTS), then even better. Id rather have 20NM, than 10bhp anyway. 

 

Next positive - clean exhausts, just like DPF'd cars, no sooty tips. Bain of our lives, for those us us who like clean exhausts. 

 

If it really bothers you, i bet theres loads of MK7 downpipes (without GPF) for sale on the internet. Tie up the cables for any addidtional sensors (if there are any) and grt a 'normal' mk7.5 OEM map applied. Sorted.

Yeah exactly this, it's bugger all issue.

 

mine kicks out over 320 (from a couple of RR's) , so can't see much issue tbh.

I don't think anyone is dreading the arrival of their R mate.

Swapping out down pipes and having remaps under Warrenty is not an option.

i actually have a stock downpipe from a non GPF car, but no longer intend to fit it on my new car so if anyone else wants one cheap, let me know,
