They were drinking tea in Rick Stein's.  The wife didn't know who he was until I showed her jam roly poly advert

God, that time he ran her over just have affected her memory then 🤣

(just realised you meant your wife not Arrys’)

Just back from the above, 1800 miles over 5 days, the R' never missed a beat, 36c daytime temps, 26c driving back through France overnight, she badly needs a wash (the car) due to insects!!!!

Superb roads, very light traffic. I drove the Furka, Susten, and Grimsel passes, The Susten is still blocked at the top due to snow.

The fact I was driving a right hand drive car I feel was an advantage when driving the mountain passes in some instances.

Here is a few photographs of the trip:-

Mine is having a service on Monday so I thought while I've got the day off I better get the pipercross panel filter out and give it a good clean

Finally gave mine a good wash, after a month without any TLC.

Car was filthy, used autosol on exhausts first, then focused on wheels and hosed car down, two bucket wash, then rinsed and Aqua waxed.

Something satisfying about spending three to four hours giving it a clean when it’s so dirty. Looks good, but clouded over now so no pictures.

In for a service on Tuesday, so will dig out ‘do not wash’ signs from garage, and no excuse for them to even touch the paint. On the service sheet plus various signs left on dash, mirror, seats etc. They were okay last time and I made it clear if the Eastern European chaos who lurk around their wash bay even touch it I will know as despite being two years old paint is mint, and guess they don’t want to have to pay for a full detail...

Also did the bonnet catch cable tie fix (finally).

Off for a nap now as been in Kuwait and Dubai all week and jet lagged after flying back yesterday.

Quick wash turned into snow foam, wash, dry, poorboys black hole, poorboys black natty paste, poorboys wheel sealant on wheels/wing mirrors/roof rails and c2v3 on the glass. 5 hours later and pleased with the results. So much so went for a few pints
