Euro Trip

Currently in the planning stage with friends about a Euro Trip in Jult/August

 

Will be around 2,500 miles in 11 days so will certainly stretch the legs on the R...

 

Will be -

3 x 350x

A 370z Roadster

Porche Cayman

Porsche 911 turbo

Possibly a 1971 240z too

 

Can't wait!

August can busy round Europe due to their holidays July or September is the way to go been touring Europe for years on bikes 
Yeah my friends have been in September, last week of July I think about 26/27th is the plan

It suspect that it be quite busy in late July, but the locations are still fantastic. I note that you have not included Stelvio, which is probably wise. Since the Top Gear feature it has really become a tourist trap. If you look at most of the vids on YouTube (not sure on time of year as the mountains at that altitude nearly always have snow on the top of them!), there are cars crawling along following huge coaches!

july is fine most of the alps will be quiet it really is august thats busy as europeans have shut downs in august , late july will avoid most snow only pass shut when i went 20 th july 2 year ago was col du galibier , col du llseran snow on top but roads clear
