Anyone Know this Car? Revo Stage 4: KT15 LYY

Recommended Posts

Alright. Curiosity got the better of me. Burned a HPI check on it

It's had 6 owners

Cat D due to damage, not theft

Only one MOT because of the age (so only one mileage reading)

Found a previous registration DNZ 191 --> sent to Revo. I that a N. Irish plate?

Been watching too many detective programs. I'm expecting to find a clip of this in some police chase !
So does the mileage appear correct? 6 owners rings alarm bells as well as cat D

Just got an invoice out of the seller, after a fair bit of persuading, from autospecialists.co.uk (never heard of them) for the revo turbo, dated Jan 2018

Mileage then 34,208

Mileage now (on the new clocks) 22k!

I knew these R’s were fast - but this one is a time machine!

Well let this thread be a warning to anyone else who gets interested in this car.

Retrofit clocks can't be adjusted so will be reading the mileage from the car they came out of, at least it shouldn't have done a stupid amount if miles in a year hopefully

Looks shifty to me too, if you look closely the speedo actually reads 15873 miles could be old photos. There are Jardine Motors plates which also has Lancaster VW Milton Keynes on it you could contact them. There is a funny line (maybe a masking line on the read inner door frame on the rear seat photo). Steering wheel is awfully shiny , usually a wear sign of higher miles.
