LV Insurance and modifying

LV were fine with spacers, ECU/TCU upgrade, AirBox/Filter, Downpipe etc. until I added the Intercooler, £700 increase.........as apparently, that increase power by some margin!
Yeah I guess there is always a limit and you resched it!

Went ERS at Lloyds, via Keith Michaels, small increase on the original LV price. As you say, I think its a question of call op interpretation.

They do cover remaps but they’re not competitive at all. My first conversation with LV getting quotes for a JB4, was put down as a remap - extra £900.

I’ve just run a quote with gocompare with with the following mods:

 

Aftermarket wheels, air filters, chipped/engine management changes and exhaust system changes (cover a downpipe change).

 

Cheapest insurer was.........LV

Around £130 more than my current premium (stock).
