PS4’s or asymmetric 5’s and 225 or 235 for 8.5j rim

Recommended Posts

Hi peeps I’ve got some new rims coming and just want your thoughts on the above?,regards the tyre make I would of just picked ps4’s until I’ve just watched the asymmetric 5 review, price wise the Goodyear’s are only about £5 cheaper in either profiles though the difference between 225/40/18 and 235/40/18 is about £30 per tyre which is my second decision,I’ve never had an 8.5j rim in 18” before and wondering if a 225 would look a bit stretched,I’ve searched online and some tyres look ok and others do look stretched which I’m guessing is the difference from manufacturers in there definition of 225mm width. Is there any of you peeps running ps4’s or Goodyear’s 225’s on an 8.5j? Pics please if you have them🙂👍

Cheers peeps think I’m going to get some 235/40 ps4’s,looks like I’d just missed out on a 10% flash sale so I’ll wait till it’s back on again.🤘

I have a set of 19" OEM R wheels with Michelin PS4S 235/35 (currently on my Caddy 😛 ) and running 19" Zito with Goodyear F1 Asymmetric 5 on my R. GY looks so much  better as they are tapered a bit vs the PS4S square design.
