Another poor show for Adrian Flux

After reading some shocking reviews about Adrian flux i thought they can’t be true!

 

Anyway come renewal time they were keenly priced so I moved from my insurer of choice Chris Knott to Adrian Flux.

Some 2 months in I asked for a new price to change cars.

That’s were the problems started.

They said my current insurer wouldn’t insure my new car as it was a standard car!! They then proceeded to say I’d need to cancel my existing policy and start a fresh.

A quick check on confused.com and I was receiving quotes around £300-£315 for the same cover.

Adrian Flux wanted over £550! For which after they’d taken their admin and cancellation fee I’d still need to pay £380 ish

If I cancel and go elsewhere they will charge an admin and a cancellation and from my original premium of over £380 I’d receive approx £160 if cancelled as of yesterday!

What a complete joke and a huge lesson learnt.

As usual no follow up, but at least I’ve now received my pittance of a refund.
Must say I think if you put a thread on here for a years free insurance I think I’d decline.

They offered me a nice discount a couple of years ago. After the terrible service I received from them the previous year I told them to shove it up there arse.

AF and their underwriters (Markerstudy) are a match made in hell. Avoid at all costs.
