Stobsie 3,915 Report post Posted May 3, 2020 You’ll have no issues and correct tyre size is 225/40/18.
davegolfr 1 Report post Posted May 3, 2020 What’s the difference then as standard wheels are ET51 and 7.5 I think what is changing

Immaculate. 18 x 8,5 with offset ET 45 They are fitted with 235/40/18 tyres. Fill the arches nice, so dont appear “smaller” after Pretorias. 😀 The width of the wheel is the 7.5 and 8.0. The ET is how much the wheels poke out.

BobbyT 1,093 Report post Posted March 5 That size should be fine. I had 225/40/18 not long back on an 8j rim. Looked normal.

NRW 2,285 Report post Posted March 31 48 minutes ago, davegolfr said: What about the ET45 will it scrub if any help at all . My Winter set up is 18 x 8.5, ET45. Tyres 235:40:18. Near as dammit the same Rolling Radius as Factory Pretoria’s. But Fill better. Standard Spring settings tho - NOT lowered. NO issues whatsoever when using these.
