SEAN G
Got the phone call to say my R20 had arrived late this evening - will be a week or two before it will be ready as it going for the PPF and ceramic coating plus a few other bits to do The wheels and mirror cap’s definitely will be changed as personally think they look terrible Few pics of it looking in in sorry state Dan_, Booth11, Tom2893 and 10 others 12

SEAN G
Yes Black mirror caps and the dynamic indicators to go on and most likely these wheels or possibly Racing Line R360 Have both sets so will see what looks best Thought I’d the R360 to go on my CSS  mpv

I've seen a black one with the blue and not my taste tbh. I've ordered Lapiz for that reason
KR8
The blue wheels are certainly an acquired taste.  They would look better with Lapiz but that’s the one colour you can’t get them with…odd choices from VW.

Welsh R
Ordered my R long long ago in Dec '21 and have been receiving weekly updates from VW Exec Office since start of this year. It's gone from confirmed build week 28 to week 36 and last week was an unconfirmed week 27 (3/7). This week I've been told that it is without a build week as "they are currently undergoing Model Year changes". I guess July is around the time they introduce MY changes. Has anyone seen any details on what the changes are?  - is it likely to be the 8.5 facelift?. Wouldn't want to have a car delivered just before a significant facelift was launched.  Also since I ordered, my lifestyle has changed a bit as I now only work part time and have recently got a rescue dog. Is it sacrilege to use a pristine R to ferry a muddy hairy dog  - possibly on the back seat as he's a very nervous rescue!. If I had been working full time I would have got a dog car  - but finances won't permit it. I had considered cancelling and getting something more dog friendly - but having had a 7.5 I really want my R. And don't want to lose that 18% discount over current list. I worked hard to keep the 7.5 box-fresh but should I just accept, with apologies to the detailing fans,  that it's just going to get scruffed up and enjoy it?  Lapiz Blue Park Assist 19" Estoril alloy wheels Dynamic chassis control (DCC) Panoramic Harman/Kardon sound system Rear View Camera Winter Pack

PK8
Like many on here my life has changed over the last 2 years and to be honest I would not be ordering a brand new car right now.  Anyway my car was delivered 3 weeks ago ( ordered July 21 ) and I am very happy with it.  Yesterday I put it up on the auction process on motorway.co.uk and highest bid was £44,061.  Bids are from dealers and thats the amount I would recieve. They even collect the car.  So I could make a profit on a car for the first time in my life !  Its sat in the garage with 115 miles on it while I decide what to do.  Just thought some on here might be interested in the valuation. AHG
@Welsh R many here (and around the world) have dogs and love their cars, and they use variable methods to protect the car and enable the dog to be in it (back seat covers, coverall for when you put the backrests down, and others) the intervenes is filled with solutions

Couldn’t do that now with the current list price… that’s why there is a lot of used R/s sat on forecourt’s my local dealer has one sat there for 3 months at £44000 on a 21 plate also the mk8 issues might be putting people off
