That is how supply chains in serial production work.

Roughly 6 months lead time.

So, if you ’dent’ it at its origin it takes several months

for it to resonate all the way to the product supply end.

The supply chain crisis started in the end of Q4/20

so any car made by mid Q2/21 would’ve been supplied in time.

Later in Q1/22 the Russia/Ukraine war brought more issues to supply chains,

so anything made in Q3/22 or later is (or will be) further delayed.

My guess is that it will take until Q4/23 or maybe Q1/24

for the world to go back to ‘less crazy’

I fear the world is never going to be the same again. At least until the tinpot dictator to our east remains in power…

Of course you do 💁🏼‍♂️🤣🤣 Sundays must be a busy day in your household 😉

Haha, Sunday is the least busy day in our household.  😁  That’s why I (sometimes) get time to do my car.  The rest of the week it’s impossible, but even finding time on a Sunday is a challenge at times, and then the weather dictates too as my car lives outside.    Still, I love detailing.  😊

Will you be getting yours ceramic coated/detailed when it finally arrives?

Whenever I get a new car I always get the inside and outside "treated" but never actually know what it is! *faceplam*

Haha, you should ask what they are using, so you can know how best to maintain it, some ceramic coatings are best maintained with products that work with, and complement the coating applied.

A very good idea. I shall certainly do this! Thanks :)
