Actually you can ... anytime you are lightly using the brakes to make the car crawl along very slowly (in forward or reverse) the DSG has to slip (ride) the clutch to keep the road speed down. 


It is recommended that you keep this situation to a minimum to reduce clutch wear, so preferably be either fully stopped (where the clutch is fully disengaged, or moving slowly without the brakes applied, not in between.  Obviously slowing down going through the gears while you use the brakes is OK.
