On some cars I am given to understand you might have to subscribe via the shop. Unlike earlier versions that use Google data the mapping does not show the green roads. Congestion is still noted in orange or red and shows up if there is any within the screen area. Verbal warnings are given irrespective of your use of NAV if the car thinks you are on a congested route. When I start the car it is 50/50 if I will see green line on right .(traffic info active) . Really there must be some sort of SW bug. Sometimes the bar switch off to grey for the rest of the ride, sometimes it go green again. Also in services I try to activate and deactivate traffic info, but it did not help. Is there any way make this function reliable? It is sad that in 2023 is this function not working propertly. I really want to use VW nav due to head up display nav info. Thank you for help 🙏

The roads on the estate I live on are very narrow and to turn in to a road only one car can fit in the bend. This car came towards a junction a little quick so to avoid it going in to my side I thought I would go onto the dropped curb not realising I was little set back from it, so I kind of took the the edge a little. From within the car it looked clear 😵 It didn’t sound like an issue 😂 But hey, it could have been worse.

At least you’re philosophical about it, which is really the only way to be especially if you’re the one that’s responsible. 😄 Will you get it refurbed, or live with it? I know what you mean Kev, you have that horrible feeling in the pit of your stomach every time you see the stricken wheel, but…get over it eventually. 😄 Good you’ve got it booked in. We are pretty lucky here in Kent in terms of good wheel refurbishers, as there’s also Lepsons and Wheelclass (the latter company set up by previous founder/owner of Lepsons), so plenty of choice! I’ve used Lepsons a few times in past years for both diamond cut alloys and powder coated and both times the work was top notch. They have the proper diamond cutting lathe equipment. They’ve always had a good reputation. It’s also worth a look at Wheel Class too as they set up in last few years and it’s the person who founded Lepsons (which was sold to venture capitalists years back) that owns it. Earlier this year someone who is in the know told me that Wheel Class had ‘poached’ quite a few of Lepsons best skilled staff recently and that had impacted. I’ve got a wheel needs straightening and one with slight kerbing and when I come to do them I’m tempted to try Wheel Class. https://wheelclass.co.uk https://wheelclass.co.uk https://instagram.com/wheelclass.ltd?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== https://www.facebook.com/wheelclassltd Edited August 30 by Booth11 PrettyVacant
