South East Meet & Drive - It's Back! ... Again - Sunday 14th November 2021

Recommended Posts

The last attempt to resurrect a South East meeting actually got more interest and posts after I cancelled it (due to lack of interest) so I thought I would try again.

The idea is just to get a group like minded people together over a cup of tea and breakfast and definitely not about drivebys and showing off.

The plan is to meet at The Chalet, Henfield Rd, Horsham RH13 8DU on Sunday 25th July at around 09:30.

For those that have not been before, they have a nice sized car park, serve a good breakfast and on Sunday mornings are popular with various car clubs and groups of motorcycles.

I plan on taking my usual progressive drive to The Chalet using mainly county lanes and B roads leaving a location near Reigate in Surrey at 08:00 and you're welcome to join me for the drive or just arriver at The Chalet for a static meet. (pm me for the exact meet up spot if you want to join me for the drive 😁).

If you plan on coming to the meet, please add you name to the list below to give everyone a rough idea who plans on coming. (On the last meet we had over 20 members attend).

  • TheBlondeFella changed the title to South East Meet & Drive - It's Back! ... Again - Sunday 14th November 2021

Just a quick bump for the weekend with just over a week to go.

I've heard that a there may be a couple of other members who maybe showing their faces who haven't put their names down too. 😄

Even if you don't put your name on the list,  all are welcome to either meet there or join me and Stobsie for the journey there.

Just a quick midweek bump to advertise the meet this Sunday.

The weather is looking dry for a change too!

If you don't want to commit and stick your name down that's not a problem, you can just turn up if you fancy it.

All are welcome!!!

Should be good. Chance to see your upgraded brakes, as I want to do something similar next year.

Only a small turnout today ... but as I always say it's quality rather than quantity that

counts and it was great to catch up and chat 😀

The breakfast was great and the car park full of an assortment of bikes and other car clubs. Amongst the mx today there were half a dozen Lotus Exiges and Elans, another half a dozen classic minis, a Mclaren, Audi R8 and a couple of BMW 'M' cars

Club Members Cars

Roberth

Robs RS3 in Nardo grey looked awesome. IT WAS SOOOO CLEAN!

fastgolf

Marks R as always looked spot on and his new interior is just icing on an already great cake.

75Type2

Karls wagon must be one of the ultimate 'sleeper' cars out there and the new wheels looked awesome.

Stobsie

Still not convinced its not a 1.4 TSi.🙃

We then headed out to another Cafe just down the road that turned out to be closed but the link below will show why I was interested in getting out 2nd cuppa there. 😎
