Conti SC7s are on a different planet to the Conti SC 5Ps (had a couple sets of those on previous car). I don’t know about comparison with Conti SC6 though. sibbers and BATVAN
Hertsman
Pretty much all my previous cars had PS4 and was very happy with them, but the recent R we purchased has new Conti SC7 and must say they are super impressive, really low road noise (Individual setting is everything turned down and to comfort so if want a quiet and smooth experience, the tyres are adding to that experience) And having been out on some pretty wet and dreadful roads, not had to moderate driving at all, tyres have coped with every brisk getaway without even a hint of slippage (4motion assisted of course) Car does not have DCC but ride is pretty smooth and you would think the tyres also play a part in that along with the low road noise. The protrusions are quite prominent so there is good rim protection, though find the dipping mirror is the real reason my last two cars avoided any rim damage from my parking. Think its fine margins, as stated never thought the PS4 were anything but superb, but these Conti SC7 allow the car to be what you expect also. AS6’s right now on 18’s. I have some PS4’s on 19’s that I’m not using. AS6’s just have better feedback and communicate more back, giving me more ‘driving spirit’ and confidence even if it is at the expense of some small amount of grip difference. Better cold too. Michelins feel a bit more numb to me but also a bit more capable. I’d be tempted to try the Contis tho especially with the love they’re getting. These tyres do seem to be taking being in the top spot in turns. And even if you were to get 3rd best of the three you’re still going to be delighted. Imo. BATVAN
Cheers everybody 👍 for your information, it's very affirmative. Trouble is I'm still not sure (lol) what to go for? It is definitely out of the following: PS4s Conti SC7 AS6 They all offer different style of characteristics among each other but at the same time one offers something I'm looking for but then not something else which seems to be the confusion part for me. Also found Camskill is miles cheaper than blackcircles. You can get SC7 for £128. Per corner (which is quite good)
BATVAN
Just purchased SC7 x 4 this morning from blackcircles with discount code BF15 (Only vailed till tonight) which works out to £117.00 per tyre so not bad & then £25.00 delivery for mail order as I use a mobile tyre fitter that doesn't mark the alloys (Happy days) 😎 sibbers

Best price I’ve seen so just did it. Being fitted on Thursday. sibbers and BATVAN

I haven't even had any notifications regards the tyre's yet! Only a invoice/receipt to say I have paid for them.

speedjunkie Posted Sunday at 18:17 Report Share Posted Sunday at 18:17 I’m a few days in from having the SC7 fitted and to be honest blown away how good they are. They feel amazing! Had PS4S on 7R and they were brilliant but I think these are a step above that. They are so composed and there is so much grip, they feel brilliant. Had Hankooks on prior and hasn’t unhappy with them but these are something else. Adam7.5R, sibbers and BATVAN
Adam7.5R Posted Monday at 08:19 Report Share Posted Monday at 08:19 I purchased a set of PS4's for £565 fully fitted on Saturday which I believe is a bit of a steal. Get fitted on Friday so looking forward to how they change the car. F1 Autocentres had 20% off so couldn't say no. My old tyres have like 4.5mm tread remaining all round, any advice on where is the best place to get rid? eBay & fb marketplace I assume? I'm sure fully fitted price would include disposal of old tyres as well if that's something you wanted. Unsure if you'd get much attention from buyers for tyres with 4.5mm tread left but I may be wrong. People love a bargain! Adam7.5R

You can always stick them up for sale on the forum in the Classifieds - Parts for Sale category - you have enough posts to place an advert (selling/advertising is not permitted elsewhere on the forum). Might get a taker. Adam7.5R
