Mk7 golf r brakes on mk5 gti?

The calipers & discs are a direct swap but you’ll need to either trim/ bend the existing backing plates to accommodate the 340mm discs or use R32 backing plates as the mounting points are different so the ones from the MK7 can’t be used.

That's great news , means my brother can have a bbk for free.. cheers pal, I'll just keep the stock dust plates then..
