Hi guys, This is my first post on here and it is about insurance on modified vehicles. I have been toying with the idea of getting a DTUK box after reading far too many reviews on the pros and cons of remaps and box's. Anyway, today I thought it would be best to check out how much my insurance would increase fitting a DTUK box. To my amazement I couldn't even get a quote. I am 23 years old with 4 years no claims with no incidents or penalties and I am guessing I cannot be the only whippersnapper on here wanting to fit a tuning box to an R. How has everyone else got around this issue, or have people simply not declared it and taken the chance? Cheers in advance.
