I've just got a new N75 valve and a new diverter valve, so I am going to fit that, and see what it does its mapped by Unicorn mate, genuine 412 it made more but he turned it round yeah got the mods 3 and half inch down pipe into 3 inch exhaust rs4 valve loba hpfp revo intake and filter

yeah its Boost pressure regulation limit exceeded (over boost condition) P0234 Upper limit reached

Ive seen shed loads of 7's never many 6's, and spesh a 6R in red with a big factory spec as well, 6 is defo holding its money well compared to the 7

Hi Guys Bit of a strange one, recently had my mk6 Mapped, when it was standard never had any issues got round the rev range fine First I got the car mapped to stage 2, but not the box, as its DSG, and when I get to 120 odd in 4th gear, its cuts its power randomly...If I then try accelerate again flat to the floor it does nothing, like its in limp mode, I got it back on the rollers mapped it to stage 2 plus making 360 and 412 torque, and also mapped the box, I thought this issue would go but no still have it? If I take my foot off, and then back on in 4th gear it won't do it, n will pull round 5th and 6th, but if I keep my foot down say 2/3/4th gear top of 4th it does it, The only way to get round it is to stop, turn the car off and back on? Anyone else had this?

I am going to burn this car...found loads of issues with it, its going back to the dealer to get addressed · Lower suspension arm front bush move moving backwards and forwards, could be causing a slight knock when reversing with full lock to the right and braking, as arm is moving? Also if you turn right and go forward up a curb (drive way entrance) and brake while turned to the right, again knocks · Needs a new battery, as old one dies very fast · Air Filter is covered in some sort of substance, it is not soft foam as it should be, instead feels like an oil contaminated air filter, possibly causing restrictions to air flow to the engine at higher revs, causing heat soak? · Map issues – Car has been sold with an apparent Stage one map by viezu tuning, no proof of this map has been provided, and Viezu Tuning say they have no record of this map, the car itself does not feel stage 1 mapped and is down on serious power, according to forums and online groups stage 1 should be between 300-310bhp with a power increase, this car does not feel like it has that power increase · Two friends have Golf R’s, one manual, one DSG, this Golf gets the upper hand slightly to third gear around 120mph, then holds back, and slowly creeps up the speedo after, but struggles and you can feel it struggling, which is strange because it should be pulling all the way. Both other Golfs with stock maps pull all the way to the limiter of 155mph, and have both pulled past this golf with ease and left it behind pulling 4/5 cars on it, this is concerning because this is meant to be a stage 1, my concern is parts have been taken off the vehicle, and the map not adjusted accordingly, causing it to run wrong, could this also be the filter? Really a stock air intake pipe should be put back on the car · With the map issues and the car running wrong this could of also done engine damage due to running to lean · The engine also on idle, ever so slightly misses a beat, you can hear it in the exhaust note, and also feel it by having your hand on the engine cover · No launch control – This feature isn’t in the map, or on the car anymore, again the other Golf R’s have had launch control used on them, but this one no longer has that feature. Which should be on from stock. · Oil pressure Low warning light – This came on after hard cornering to the right, again after searching online, this has been narrowed down to oil pick up pipe being blocked, or oil pump. The car was topped up with oil before sold to myself, and was on minimum when checked on 2/04/2016, so between 42,463 when it was purchased and 44500 which it is on now, it has used a lot of oil. Oil breather pipe towards the back of the engine under the cover is also leaking slightly · Problems found when connecting the car to a snap on computer, snap on computer screen photos attached, these codes haven’t been deleted, and have been left to be seen to and addressed by your selves. Pay big money for a car n have problems like this, should of just stuck with me 3k astra lol

Ok great I'l have a look into mapping and parts on here, thanks :-) Had an issue yday mind, went round a corner fast (right) and it come up saying oil pressure low with a red oil logo, turn engine off, turned engine off my oil was on minimum, hearing things like a pick up could be blocked etc? but if thats the case surly it would stay on all the time?

Hi Guys Looking at getting the R upto Stage 2 + Fuel Pump RS4 HPRV Intercooler? Air Intake ? Any suggestions on where to get these and is anyone selling any of them ? Many Thanks

Listen to my mates Golf R, sound exactly the same so I was relieved lol I'm based 20 mins just outside North London, I did look at a manual option but I thought if I'm getting one may as well have a change, previously I owned and built a 460/500bhp Astra, with a 28, which was savage, so will more than likely do something similar to this, as time comes first option is just getting is sitting right I did want to keep the features to be honest with comfort sport, like how it works so will proberly go with the option of springs and arbs

Thanks guys, quick question are these engines ment to sound abit ticky? Is that injectors or? Car don't slug or anything 42k just outside the car if u stand by the engine it sounds abit ticky

Thanks mate, I do like it with black wheels, but I have always had red cars, and just look cleaner on silver wheels, (personal choice i guess) Looking at springs, because I have comfort sport, so I got told its either a certain coil over I have to use, or I can get away with standard shocks, and just springs, so more than likely H&R and arbs when I learn where to get them from lol Power plans, advice from anyone who has done it already haha, new to this game lol

Newbie here from the Herts region, come from a Vauxhall background finally got myself a mk6 R Dsg in red which I have been after for half a year, and now the right one come across, looking at getting it power wise upto 400/450bhp First jobs are lowering it abit to close the arch gap, and spray the wheels silver as I'm not a fan of black wheels
