Ok people, My 66 plate R broke down tonight, in a spectacular fashion. Sat in traffic, went to pull away gently,low speed and lost all drive, lots of noise, increasing amount of noise with increasing revs. Rear wheels locked. Anybody know what thats likely to be? It didnt sound good thats for sure! 35k miles to date. Just hoping VW sort this out under warranty!! Is there a diff service due before 35k?? Any help woukd be appreciated, its being dropped to VW tomorrow.
