I swapped out the gloss black for the brushed aluminium silver ones, and think I prefer the silver. Will give it a go for a while. Can always swap back. Before and after after pictures attached.

Got the car back yesterday. 🙂Turbo replaced under warranty. Apparently the actuator had bent and then seized. Hopefully no further problems. First time I’ve had to claim under warranty in years!

My Grey estate has the black mirrors and roof rails, but silver Pretorias. I think most prefer the black, but I'm thinking of swapping the mirror caps to the silver ones. Does anybody have any pics of this? I also plan to get the rear windows on a darker tint and think the silver would break up all the dark.

Bought my 2018 Golf R estate in October, but just getting round to posting. Its a 2018 310 hp estate in Indium grey with 19" Pretorias and black mirrors and roof rails. Bought as a 1 owner car from Skoda dealer with 25K miles. Traded in my 2018 7.5 GTI 5 door which was a great car. I've done less than 2000 miles due to lockdown but managed to do the following; Retrimmed steering wheel from Royal Steering wheels Wheels powder coated and fitted with Michelin PS4S New front brake calliper plates as originals faded Fitted Audison subwoofer from my old car Car has been fine, but unfortunately has developed an intermittent fault in recent weeks. EPC light and going in limp mode. In at dealers at present, who have diagnosed turbo actuator failure requiring full turbo replacement. Thankfully covered under warranty, but a bit of a worry going forward.

Hi All, I’ve just joined the forum. Got a Mk 7 GTD estate at the moment, and fancy an R estate. What’s the turning circle like on the R estate? The FWD is fine. Had a Focus ST before and that was like turning an oil tanker!
