  1. So almost 2 years on.. how did you find it? Assuming you ran the box for a while.
  2. I was thinking of trying another dealer. The picture shows the area of the damage. I just feel that it will only get worse. Literally got the same message for the rear seat where the centre looks like its sagged.
  3. The above is what I was quoted. I've seen your post. Yours is much worse! Glad you got that covered. I've had leather interiors from BMW and Audi but VW doesnt come close imo.
  4. Items where the lifetime of the component is or can be influenced by driving style and external factors will only be considered under the terms of the warranty for a period of six months or 6,500 miles (whichever is soonest). Beyond that limit, the defects must be classified as wear and tear and will not be covered by the vehicle warranty unless a clear manufacturing defect is identified. Components subject to wear and tear include, but are not limited to: Brake linings and disc pads Clutch release bearings Clutch pressure plates and centre plates Tyres Wiper blades (wiper rubbers have no warranty owing to their conditions of use) Seat and backrest covers Floor coverings Spark plugs Batteries for key fobs and alarms Light bulbs Shock Absorbers
  5. Hello. Went to my local SKF dealer today as I noticed the leather has come away from the sitching on the inside of the leg bolster. I dont have a pic - will post later. But the dealers response was that is due to wear and tear and moreover the seats are only covered up to 6months.. this is a 2017 car with 20k on clock. But nevertheless it's a £38k car. Anyone made claims or had similar issues.
  6. Anyone recently cleaned the leather seats? I want to get the matte finish back as it's looking all shiny/greasy from the previous owners use. I've seen the usual Auto Glym products.. County detailing supplies have a host of stuff.. just wondering what you guys have used etc. Cheers!
  7. I'm sure you all know what a pain in the backside the diamond cut wheels are. Anyway, i was wondering if anyone has dared to refurb them to all black or even silver? If you have a pics that's even better!!
  8. I've ran out of pop corn mate 🤣🤣🤣 I've enquired about the mtec discs however they're out of stock at the moment so will have to wait. Oh another thing, EBC yellow stuff any good?
  9. I have the same view I think the previous owner was a little hard on the brakes who knows. But the fronts are more worse for wear than the rears. I suppose just changing the front wont sit well altogether?
  10. £500 all round? Not bad. Where did you pick these up from?
  11. Where did you pick these up from mate? I had a look on the MTEC website and they're sold out.. all of them lol. As a principle should you not keep the same brands the same ie. Brembo pads and discs? Or isn't there an issue with that.
  12. Thank you. Yes ECP can be misleading with their 'offers'. Does the clubsport brakes allow for extra power - say a stage 1 remap.. purely thinking ahead if I decide to go ahead with it.
  13. I'm sure loads of you would have had this done.. worth it? Drone noise in normal mode? Warranty issues? Cheers!
  14. Hi all, my first post - as I purchased a 2017 R 7.5 last week 😁😁 So my car has covered 21k and some maintenance is now due. my brake pads all round look pretty low and the front discs seem to have a slight lip. Rears not too bad.. Spoke to TPS local to me and cost for pads & discs all round was £360. I also had a quick look at Euro car parts and for Brembo pads & discs (after discount) is £260. So for the people who have gone through changes on their braking system what would you recommend? The £100 saving does look attractive but is it worth it? Cheers!
